But no alignment mark if you want put dirt container back to machine. I put a paper mark label and that’s all.

Elena: Great value for the money! After using a Hoover for 10 years, I had no idea how filthy our rug was...after vaccuimg it once, I really saw the difference. It is bulky, so if you don't like your vaccume bulky, don't get it. It is too wide to get to some corners, but you can use the little thing that comes out of the main handle to vaccume any hard to reach spots. 10/10

Denise Miller: Lightweight, good suction, easy access controls, what more could I ask for. My Dyson had the best suction I've ever experienced in a vacuum but as I got older I needed something lighter and more manageable. This little guy fits the bill.

Scott: Great suction, good vacuum. Only issue was that the latch that holds the handle in place, is not strong enough to hold the handle in place during the pulling stroke, especially on carpet. But that was an easy fix, a simple hair-elastic did the trick, and vacuum has worked great since

Natalie: This is a cheap vacuum. It works very well if you don't have extraordinary expectations. It works seamlessly between carpet and hard floors and does not throw dirt out behind it when on hard surfaces. The canister is not that big so it needs to be emptied after every complete house vacuum job in this house with 2 kids, 2 dogs and a cat. Also, if you don't clean the filter often you will loose suction. For the price it has worked just fine and I am very happy with it so far. I think I have had it about 3 months at this point.

David Stephens: I did a good amount of research and was fearful I was going to be spending hundreds of dollars for a product to simply clean my house with (not sure the prices of vacuum cleaners are justified these days). I took a chance based upon product reviews and this Dirt Devil has turned out to be everything it is touted for just over $100. I have tile, wood, and carpeted floors and this works like a champ on all surfaces. Don't spend your hard earned money on anything else. If you don't like it for some reason you are only out $100, but you will love it. Only one thing that could be better is the dust canister seems to fill up rather quickly, but it is easy to dump and get right back in action. Very satisfied with this product.

KL: So far, I'm pretty happy with this vacuum cleaner overall. My home is fairly small, so I like its somewhat diminutive size. I don't need a gigantic upright vac, so this one is right-sized and easy to tuck away and store. It's like a combination between a stick vac and a full-fledged upright. Small-ish size and still has great suction.

My floors are a mix of area rugs and hardwood. However, I definitely think this vacuum could benefit from having a height adjustment. It struggles to vacuum the high pile shag area rug in my living room. It's a wrestling match that pits man against machine and one that I am determined to win. Fortunately, at 5x7, my area rug isn't that big.

I do like that the brush motor shuts off when you move the machine to the upright position. I also like the ability to shut the brush motor off separately from the rest of the machine when vacuuming hard surfaces. It actually picks up the dirt rather than throwing it around. I also like the easy maintenance of emptying and cleaning the dust canister and filters.

Leaving it parked it in a freestanding, upright position is an "iffy" proposition at best. It seems to be a bit top-heavy. It's a...

W. Hohauser: Bought this to replace an older, less maneuverable Dirt Devil. It is smaller than our previous Dirt Devil but almost the same weight. However it does a great job and stores in less room. The swivel head is helpful but what I like the most is that the rotating sweeper shuts off automatically if you click the vacuum to a vertical position. That great for quick accessory use without the sweeper digging a hole into your carpets. You can also manually switch the sweeper off. The dirt canister cleans out easier than the older Dirt Devil. Like the older vacuum this model cleans up pet hair and dust without blowing fine particles into the air.
