Debby: So, I'm (Kristen) writing this from my family's account that I used to purchase these. That 2 day shipping is awesome when you have parents that will share the privilege. Anyhow, I have a chihuahua that is a little over a year old. I'm also caring for my mom's dogs now while she's living in a facility that offers better care for her medical needs. So she has one grumpy old gal getting on in age (a pug/mini poodle mix) and a chihuahua that was born a few months after mine who will be a year old soon that I've been taking care of.
They chew constantly, the chihuahuas. I love them dearly but they love to chew. This is not as bad now as when they were actively teething but it's still a lot. No one can keep eyes on alert 24/7 though we all try here so I've lost a lot of things I wish hadn't been chewed. Shoes, books, tablet and cell phone covers, notebooks, cords, my purse strap, the cats' plastic food bowls, the bed posts and the doors weirdly enough, and once embarrassingly my debit card when I didn't realize it had fallen out of the wallet case I have on my cell phone.
