DEWALT DW7350 Planer Stand with Integrated Mobile Base for Easy Portability

Jennifer S: Before I purchased this I read a lot of reviews complaining about how hard it was to assemble. It's actually very easy to assemble and I have to say it's a quality product for sure.
My only real knock on it is the foot peddle, it's easy to lower the unit but getting your foot in far enough to raise it back up can be a pain. Other than that it's a great combination with the DW735 or any other portable planer.

JimJim: I needed a sturdy stand to mount my compound miter saw on, with wheels so I could roll it outside the garage for work. This stand is very high quality. The assembly instructions are terrible but there are good assembly videos online.

I just needed to drill 4 holes for the miter saw base -- the pre-drilled holes are made for Dewalt planers. I also reversed the direction of the foot pedal by removing the C-clip on the pivot and flipping it around. It only sticks out an inch or so this way but is very easy to operate with your toe.

John FarrellJohn Farrell: Pedal is attached in WRONG position from factory.
Pull circ clips and reverse foot pedal.
It makes it MUCH easier to access the pedal and the full open and closed postions are shown above and perfect this way.

The wood table top dimensions are less than stated.
the wood is shorter on both directions than stated,
It is the metal frame dimension that is stated.
I had to add a plywood on the top to fit my table saw on.
Otherwise it is a nice table, and easily maneuverable....
once you flip pedal around :)

EricEric: This is a very sturdy stand that works well for my Dewalt planer. I’m not sure what some reviewers were talking about when they said it took a long time to assemble. My was delivered today. I took it to my workshop after lunch and within an hour I had it assembled and the planer mounted. It when together easily and looks great! Just a tip, if you are having problems assembling this stand you probably shouldn’t be using a planer, or any power tools for that matter.

FREDERICK B LITTLEFIELD: The best Planer table available. I bought a WEN planer but I didn't like the WEN planer stand and it was a bit more expensive than this DeWalt stand. When it arrived it was packed in a small box for its size, so I knew it was going to take a while to assemble. Overall it wasn't too complicated to assemble, but it did take me a couple of hours to assemble. It is well-designed. It uses carriage bolts in square holes so that it is sturdy and the bolt heads don't stick out when it is finished. The table top is MDF board, but it is finished with an epoxy coating that makes it hard and water resistant. There are holes pre-drilled in it but they fit the DeWalt planers. The mounting hardware is there so I will just drill new holes for my WEM planer and everything should be good. Very sturdy when all the bolts are tightened. I love it and it is easy to move around the shop. It should provide years of use, perhaps outlasting the planer itself.

GreenonesGreenones: As the headline suggests, rock solid piece of kit.

I ignored the manual and had a YouTube video running on the TV which guided me through putting it together. Checkout Jenny from the shop's video on how to assemble this thing.

Also, I had clamps to help squeeze/expand holes into alignment (as pictured). There's no way of doing this manually while attempting to drive the bolts in.

This is rarely available in the UK. I got it with free US import at £151 (July 2023), so hold out for the best price.

Highly recommended, my planer is finally secure and much safer to use.

steven combden: Great except for the foot lever, works but can be a bit of a pain to lift for movement. Is very solid and does the job in every other way perfectly.

Bob: I purchased to use as a stand for my drill press as a number of others have done. It handles the weight just fine. I positioned the front of my drill press flush with the front of the cabinet top. About 1/2 of the motor on the drill press hangs out past the back of the cabinet. The rear wheels of the cabinet are not at the back but positioned a few inches closer to the front. So the pivot point is in front of the motor. The result is that it feels a bit tippy toward the back when wheeling it around. My shop floor is pretty flat concrete. I placed my drill vice, C-clamps etc at the front of the shelf to counter balance it and that helps. It feels fine when the front wheel isn’t used and it’s sitting on the two rubber feet at the front. I’d still buy it again for this application. Just a heads up for anyone with a bigger piece of equipment or a rough floor.
