John: I wish I had bought one of these years ago. My current project is cutting sheet rock off of a ceiling. then I'm going to build a wall and get easy alignment. No more trying to follow little pencil marks.

Will be super nice to hang pictures - perfect alignment across a long wall.

Paul S.: So far, I used this for hanging drywall in two room additions, and I love it! This is my first laser level of this type. I’ve only had it a short time, but it has been an absolute game changer. Being able to project both a vertical and horizontal line at the same time is super handy. The magnets on the included mount seem to be plenty strong and hold nicely to metal corner bead on finishes drywall walls. Also, I checked it for level using a four foot bubble level, and the self-leveling pendulum for the emitters seems to be absolutely accurate and repeatable to the claimed accuracy specification. I’m also looking forward to using it for leveling the grids for drop ceilings in the two rooms that I’m working on. I’ve watched videos on it being used for this task, and it looks like it should simplify things a lot.

Amazon Customer: Supper easy to use, incredibly handy. I bought it to install kitchen cabinets with. Much easier and more accurate than my spirit level. Since then I’ve found a bunch of other uses like lining up picture frames on adjacent walls and other odd jobs. I absolutely love it.

NP: This will be a handy device for me going forward. This laser level projects a green spot and not a line. If you buy a line type, you have to spend a lot for one tbat is visible in daylight. That's why I chose this type, The beam projucts up, down and horizontally all at the same time. Being a spot type, the green dot is visible in most sunlight. I tested it by magnetically attatching it to one of my fence poists to check the level of my shack and bottom edge of my stucco as we are having pavers installed and we want a perfect gap along the back. Once mounted, you simply rotate the device and note where the spot of light is. Seems like it is very good build quality.

Rick: This is my second cross line laser, the first being an earlier generation of an obscure brand that is no longer sold but served me very well for a number of years. I opted to get a new unit primarily for the convenience features that my other unit doesn't have: most significantly, the DeWalt is much smaller and lighter, and I really like the mounting options; specifically, 1) the tripod mount on the bottom that fits my very stable camera tripod, and 2) the magnets in the mount allow easy attachment to anything metal including a small metal Simpson tie plate that I can attach to studs with a screw in about 3 seconds so I can hang this things wherever I want.

I also like the fact that it flashes at you when you don't have it sufficiently plumb of level to be within the swing capability of the pendulum. That makes it easy to glance down at it and realize you need to tweak the housing a bit to get within those limits.

There are a couple of things that I don't like:

1) There is no lock on the pendulum for use during transport. This is probably less of a big deal than I originally thought, however, because it came to me via UPS with that...
