Le puse una hoja de corte para metal Leno_ y corta los metales como si fuera mantequilla. son más de 50 cortes la mitad de tubos cuadrados de 1.5mm de grosor y la otra mitad de 0.8mm de grosor y la batería solo le bajó un 25%. El cuerpo es de aluminio, pero la estructura está fuerte. se siente firme al realizar los cortes.

Pat W.: I was hesitant with purchasing a battery powered miter saw. The price was a little high and I was unsure about switching battery platforms. I am so happy I made the switch. Saw is very, very accurate once dialed in. Extremely lighweight. It will cut up to a 1x8 on the flat. Oh yeah...no cord needed and for me, the power is plenty. I will keep my 12" corded saw but it will collect dust until needed for bigger boards.

ironwood: There are several battery tool makers that make portable sliding miter saws. I'm already heavily into the Dewalt eco system so have lots of batteries. I choose this saw partly for that reason and partly because of the reviews. I wanted a very portable saw and don't need large capacity on site. I have been very impressed. It handles everything I want to do on site and does it very quietly and accurately. It would be nice if it tilted both ways or had larger capacity etc. You can get those capabilities with other tool makers but they cost more and add weight. For what I want this hits the nail squarely on the head. I looked at the Makita which I think is quite good and more capable but way heavier and nearly twice the price. So it's all about matching your needs to your budget.
