I realize after workouts I smell like chicken soup. Salty, fatty, meaty, and cooked. My boyfriend said it smelled funky, and I was originally hoping that I could mask it up/address it with some body spray, but the body spray basically did nothing after I started working out.
After doing some research, I realized that the chicken soup smell is the result of whatever bacteria live on my skin consuming the sweat I produce - so logically, an antibacterial body wash should clear up my body odor. I was skeptical of this, but I used it after my Monday workout.
I read in these reviews that this soap has a light scent. I want to clarify that it does have a light scent, in a way. If you've ever been on a road trip and stopped at a gas station to use the bathroom, you'll notice this smell. It's not offensive, it's not strong, but it just smells like super generic soap that's used often in a gas station. I followed up washing with this soap with another scented soap I like.
