Ben H: In old assembly, internal rubber broke up and lodged in valve, immediately shutting off water. Corrosion on bronze sleeve made unscrewing it very difficult. Applying new rubber cups and springs to interior slots is tricky, but succeeded with some single finger patience. New cartridge worked fine, though the water throughput seems a little reduced. Note that the cartridge has a tab that needs to slide into a slot in the old housing
