Oil rubbed bronze purchases have been hit or miss on Amazon, a lot of them are just solid black. This one is perfect, has some nice coloring and is sturdy and well made. I really like this piece, it looks great and matches my fixtures beautifully.

These towel rings look nice and install easily. I've noticed a couple of install variations on the Windemere line that I'd like to mention. These particular bronze towel rings installed using a base plate screwed to the wall and two notches on the back of the towel ring that slot onto a couple tabs on the base plate. This seems to work well and I haven't had any problems with them coming-off since you are usually pulling down on a towel ring and not pulling-up.
I ordered an identical towel ring in stainless and it mounted using a base plate and a set screw in the bottom of the towel ring base. Once installed the set screw one is probably more secure since it won't pull-off, but it is a pain to get a hex key in there and turn that little set screw.
I'm not sure which of these install methods is the most recent, but I would guess the set screw. Personally I prefer the other for ease of installation. Just a heads-up that you might get either or both depending on what gets shipped to you. Externally they look the same so even if you had two different ones next to each other you probably wouldn't notice.

When I bought my house I had those nasty cheap chrome loop towel holders, totally not my style and really cheap to the touch.
I decided to go with an oil brushed bronze layout throughout the house. I have only completed 1 bathroom so far, but the addition of these towel holders has really tied everything in nicely. The build on the unit is very sturdy and smooth to the touch. Install is very easy and takes less than 10-15 mins.
I really like Delta products for the bathroom. The quality in their workmanship really shines through and you know you are getting a quality product when you pay the extra to get Delta. I recommend these to anyone that likes the brushed oil look and is looking for small ways to spruce up their bathrooms.
