We put in new bathroom fixtures but could not find a towel bar to match. This Delta towel bar matched great. But I must say, my husband who can install anything, did find the screws on this to be a bit challenging. Needless to say, with a little persistence, he made it work.

It takes 4 hours to install a simple towel bar because the mounting brackets are defective. The mounting brackets should snap into the slots in the back of the towel bar holders, but they don't unless you spend hours bending and re-shaping the brackets. If you don't re-shape the brackets, the prongs on the brackets won't slide through the slots. As a result, the towel bar doesn't lock into place, but, instead, it simply hangs there loose and promptly falls off the wall when it is bumped. Obviously, the brackets were not milled correctly. IF the brackets had been manufactured to the correct specifications (a/k/a tolerances), the towel bar would be fine, but the poorly made brackets make the product defective and, more importantly, they make the installation process totally frustrating and needlessly time-consuming. I definitely would never recommend this product to anyone!

Very flimsy, just installed yesterday and already came off the wall. I don’t think it’ll be able to hold two bath towels.

The appearance is modern with a hint of nostalgia which is what we wanted for our remodeled farm home. I really like the brushed chrome. I wish it also came in polished chrome. It was easy to install and sturdy enough for everyday use. The spacing is just right for either hand towels or bath towels.
