JO: These gloves work well to remove hair on my short-haired cat but not as well on my medium-haired cat. My cats tolerate the gloves much better than the other "furminator" I have which is much more aggressive at removing hair. I have large hands and these gloves still fit just fine since they are stretchy. The gloves collect the hair well but it needs to be removed frequently from the gloves since they don't work as well when they become clogged. The gloves are easy to clean by rubbing them together or removing the hair with fingers. Sometimes I use only one glove since it's easier to hold and position the cat with an un-gloved hand. It seems best to do repeated brushing over the same area to loosen and collect the hair. Overall, I'm very pleased with these gloves.

Katrina: My cat has a long triple coat that's as soft as eider down. These mitts didn't work for his fur, though I think they probably work great on a short hair cat or dog. A plus point to note: the cat didn't mind me trying to 'brush' him with these. Guess he thought I was simply rubbing & petting him. Wish he was as accomodating when I use a brush. LOL

Ramiro de los Santos: I had stopped brushing my long hair cat since he was not tolerating it lately . Then I took a chance on these gloves and it's working well. The cat loves it and I dispose of a lot of hair away. My feline spends most of the time outside, save for winter. His coat is looking better. I only use one glove and my free hand to pick off the hair. The only negative part is that if you sprinkle some water on the silicone palm, it's a bit of a mess to get rid of the wet hair off your fingers. But I can live with that since he enjoys it so much and brushing it's not an option.

Amazon Customer: It does a decent job of removing loose fur but my fine tooth pet comb works better on her undercoat. These gloves are very easy to put on and have velcro tabs at the wrist to keep them firmly on your hand. Mist the silicone nubs with water to keep the fur from flying off. I did find that it wasn't very easy to remove all of the fur from the gloves- it takes some work to get it all off. Overall, if she likes being brushed and they help with shedding then they are doing their job!
