Bibliophile: This easy to prepare meal has become one of my favorites., tasty and inexpensive. Because the weather was brutally hot, I chose to microwave it in an 1100W oven for 10 minutes which produced a perfectly cooked dinner -- crisp vegetables, tender beef and a delicious sweet/sour type sauce over rice. I found 1/2 package (about 10 oz.) to be more than ample for 1 person, but appetites are subjective.

SpartyGrl02: For a pre-packaged, one-skillet, frozen meal this was quite good. I don't care for peppers in most things, so I removed those before cooking in the skillet, which was quite easy to do. The beans stayed fairly crisp, the beef was tender and the rice was also a decent texture - not too hard or too mushy as can happen with these types of meals. The sauce had a nice flavor to it. All in all, a nice, quick, one-skillet, easy to make meal. I plan to keep one of these around in the freezer for nights when you need something quick, but still flavorful.
