ohmyhellohi: The names are over the top and not my style because you don’t know what you are getting until you get to the recipe. So that’s an annoyance but the recipes are solid and I definitely will buy this book

Rylie: This book is great. The recipes aren’t over complicated and are easy to follow, even as a beginner. it has a variety of options for your to choose from. additionally, it has a mixture of sweet and savoury pies.

Interesting recipes. Some are true winners while others not so much. I have had fun baking with this book. I’ve tried 5 pies so far. I am bummed that Falling in Love pie recipe is not included

Crickett69: After many years I finally watched the movie “Waitress” a few months ago. I just had to get some of the recipes and I was surprised that there was a cookbook for them through Amazon!
It’s a lovely book with pictures alongside the easy to read and easy to make recipes. This is a must for every pie baker!

FrannyG: Recipes we've tried so far have been wonderful. I'm a fan of the musical, which led me to this book. Husband was skeptical but then he made the Shepherds Pie. He proclaimed it 'the best he's ever had' which surpassed what we'd eaten in the UK. The previous reviews about the book being a marriage help book has truth. We are working are way through the pies together. Pleasantly surprised with this unexpected benefit of the book.

Lisa Kohut: This cookbook is great Love all the anecdotes and tips, pictures are amazing. My only criticism is it calls for very hard to find ingredients.

Megs: It's a gorgeous book, written from the perspective of Jenna, the lead in "Waitress" (film and theater show), which makes it all the better for a fan of both!
The pies all look and seem delicious! As someone who would not consider herself a baker though, some of the recipes do seem a bit intimidating. However, there are plenty of tips, and I imagine one can take some shortcuts without compromising the final product, if one were so inclined.
Perhaps I shall update, if I get around to making one! :)

Keowna: So far I've only tried two recipes from this book (the Plum Galettes and Apple Hand Pies) but both were very easy to follow and tasted fantastic! I love the nods to the show in the names of certain pies and little descriptions. I can't wait to continue trying recipes from this book!

Amanda: I am a frequent pie-er (I have seen the Broadway show 10 times so far). I bought this souvenir in hopes of actually making one of the pies but I have yet to do so. I have been taking this with me to the show and getting cast members to sign it inside so that’s fun.

I think this is an affordable souvenir for a Waitress fan. The recipes don’t look too hard to tackle but I haven’t given myself the time to try one out… maybe some day.

This was a great purchase for me. The price in Amazon at the time was cheaper than the price in the theater.

Chris Ryall: book came in perfect condition and is lovely, but only has one or two of the movie pies. i bought it to recreate the recipes from the original film so it doesn't serve that purpose but is a nice book nonetheless.
