new50: These are great for snacks and small meals. Unfortunately when purchased from the local Whole Foods they were always stale and molded quickly. Discovered that they were frozen and then put on the shelf as needed (as were some other bread products). Coming across cold wet packages on the shelf explained it all. Once frozen they should be kept in the freezer......unless they anticipate consumption within a very short time.

Cyn: I initially purchased these for my son whose allergic to dairy and when I made them for him the first time, I tried them myself and now I eat them all the time. Very flavorful and super fragrant. Really good freshly toasted and lightly brushed with butter! Also good right out of the bag for a snack on the go. Definitely can’t recommend enough!

Cottage cheese spread, cream, milk or half and half, plus fruit or fruit spread of your choice puréed to spreadable consistency, on top of pastry, bread or roll. I am a diabetic so I use no sugar added fruits or spreads with mine. YUM!!!
