Delicious Calming and Cognitive Support Soft Chews for Dogs by Zesty Paws

Sentia: In October of '21, my 12-year-old dog Zoe had a strange episode where she acted like she didn't know me. This episode lasted 3 days. I took her to the vet, who didn't know what to make of it because her health was otherwise good, her personality appeared normal, and she eats a high quality diet.
I searched for a supplement to help her and decided on these Cognition Bites because of the high quality ingredients, especially the ashwaganda. Zoe loves them, and has had only a couple very mild episodes in the 2 years since then, which happened at night and lasted maybe 30 minutes, gone by the next morning.
I recommend Cognition Bites to my friends with older dogs who are showing signs of cognitive decline, but I think they would also be good for dogs approaching their senior years, before any symptoms show up.

Noelle KristineNoelle Kristine: I’m trying these from my 4 pound toy shiztsu who has serious dementia and degenerative myopathy. He’s stopped eating and stares off into space. He’s losing function of his back legs and it’s just heartbreaking to watch. He’s only 9 and this is progressing a warp speed since last month.
While hem’s not in pain according to the vet, his eyes are empty and lifeless. I know we’re losing him but I’m not willing to give up yet! If you’re reading this, you’re probably not either.

I’m writing this review even though it’s only been two days. If your dog is not eating and will not consume one of these chews, you can mash it up with a little water or better yet coconut oil to liquify. Then put it in his mouth with a little dropper. My little guy Kilo gobbles it up with no problem along with a liquid calorie and vitamin supplement. I’m using the coconut oil for calories and because it has fatty acids. I’m not sure if we see any improvement quite yet but I wanted to suggest the liquifying technique to anyone who might skip these because their dog isn’t chewing solid food.

Kelly: disappointed this did not help my 14 year old papillon. His anxiety has increased with his age and he now barks all the time. I was hoping this would help. Zero difference zero impact. All I can say is it didn't hurt and he seems to like eating them. Update: after leaving the above review Zesty Paws reached out and offered a full refund! Pleasantly surprised and happy with the excellent customer service!

RWilliams: My 15 year old loves this product. She has been taking one a day for over a year now. The vet tech is always surprised that she is as old as she is when I take her in for checkups. I think this product has made a big difference for her.
