Jennifer: The sauce used for this penne has a surprising bit of spicy kick to it. I’m a wimp about spices, and I wasn’t expecting that, so I wasn’t pleased, but if you like spicy sauce, this is for you. On the other hand, the meatballs are quite bland. They taste like plain ground beef without any seasoning whatsoever. The pasta was a bit rubbery, but not bad for a frozen entree. The portion size is large and filling.
I won’t be buying this again, but if you want pasta with a bit if a kick, this might be worth a try.
