Mitch: This was a very decent product for the money the color was very rich with just a few drops. I see many many reviews on here about the inks exploding when opened allow me to help you beautiful people out, Alcohol evaporates at a very low temperature and inside these bottles it has nowhere to go and forces the pressure and some ink out the nozzle when a hole is made. This is avoided entirely by chilling your inks for a bit in the fridge I left em over night before opening to allow the evaporated alcohol to condense back into its liquid state thus relieving the pressure before its opened, hope this help anyone who reads it ! Happy pouring people! ❤️

Kimberly ByarsKimberly Byars: I’m an avid user of Ranger inks but they can get pretty pricey especially when only 3 come to a pack. Took a chance on these and I gotta say that I’m definitely not mad at them! The colors spread very well unlike other cheaper brands that I’ve tried, the white inks really do sink and spread instead of just disappearing in to the other colors. The odor is low on these also unlike some other brands that have an almost fishy odor to them. The only downfall I found was snipping off the tip to open them…word of advice…make sure to hold the bottle down in a trash can while cutting off the tip! I did not, unfortunately, when opening the first couple of bottles and the ink went EVERYWHERE including my wall.

Ten: As a first time user and experimenter of Alcohol Inks, I found the set good for what it was worth and the amount of colors provided. As some mentioned, yes the bottles may squirt all over because of the provided pins, so it is highly recommended to work on a color safe space with gloves, masks and whatever means necessary to keep the permanent color away from ruining precious clothing, nails, etc. On Yupo, the inks worked well with some practice and extra media (alcohol). The colors seem to be somewhat similar and named after fruits and flowers, so color swatching was necessary not to confuse each bottle. Overall, they are a good starter set for a reasonable price. Packaging was lackluster so I placed the paints in a plastic container, upright. The plastic bottles are not sturdy and may spill if the cap isn't ensured tightly. These did the job and open the possibilities of trying other brands and colors. Made in China.
