I discovered they needed another set, I bought this latest set as a Christmas present. They loved the first set.

Grace: Not only were they super cute, but they're also SUPER effective - I am extremely light-sensitive when it comes to sleep, and these curtains block out enough light to sleep in the middle of the day. It gets DARK. They're heavy, completely wrinkle free (they were left in a pile for over a day while I was struggling to install my curtain rods) and just feel like quality. The pink is true to the picture as well.

That being said, they provide a full blackout, all panels were the same length
The steaming was worth the effort as it elevated the look significantly

Michele: I didn’t know if these would be true black out curtains because of the color but they are. They are heavy and have a black lining that keeps the light out AND significantly reduces the amount of heat that enters the room. I got these for my office (that doesn’t have central air conditioning) and even when the temperature is in the low/mid 90s I rarely have to turn on my window unit until later in the day and usually just on low (other rooms in the house I generally have to keep the air running on high all day) these are definitely worth checking out

Pifco: These are truly heavy blackout curtains though I bought them for insulating purposes. The weight comes from the back blackout panel while the light front panel is for colours. I thought I'd give these a try as they were an extremely cheap Warehouse Deal and because other insulating/blackout curtains are suffering from cutbacks in material thickness. They have a faint sheen which might not please everyone, not what I'd want in my living area. I gave them to friend in need of curtains who found them more attractive than I did.
