DCIGNA 1.5L Electric Hot Pot and Noodle Cooker

Tellus: I’m having a love-hate relationship with this pot. I love it because it boils water awesomely and you can cook a nice stew in it that’s watery but if I eat you try to sauté onions or anything I find it sticks to the bottom in fact about everything I cook that’s got more food in it sticks to the bottom. I find that so annoying and worse than any stainless steel pan I’ve ever owned. So I don’t really think it’s stainless steel it feels more like aluminum on the inside and on the bottom. also the temperature thingy is weird. I turn it all the way up to boil water that’s fine I get some good boiled hot water out of it. However if you want to just put something on middle range like on medium it doesn’t seem to do it so I find myself keep turning it up and then turning it back down to cook like yesterday I put water in there I wanted to boil two chicken thighs and first of all it’s stuck to the bottom. I had put several cups of water in so that’s not it. And I couldn’t keep it at a medium temperature it seems like it just kind of goes off. So it kind of worked. Linda: I received this Electric hot pot last Thursday and I put it to good work over the weekend. Based on the various cooking meals I did, I'm very glad to report back that I thoroughly enjoyed using it even more than my expensive electric stove (not that I won't use my stove anymore)! This is because this thing looks solid and it's small in size, easier to use and easier to clean and store away (if needed). Due to its small footprint, it will not occupy much counter space. If you have a small family, you would enjoy using it to cook smaller portion meal for 1-2 people. It's good to cook a quick lunch for sure. I also like its auto shut off function when water was boiled dry in the pot. It just happened to me multiple times over the years that I totally forgot about boiling water / cooking meal on the stove. It's always good to have an appliance that will remember when to turn off when you forgot about it. I also found out that this pot can cook many different variety of the items, not limited to soupy stuff like noodles, pasta and stew, etc. Having a steamer basket is definitely a plus! This means I can steam veggies or fish filet in it which will be my next attempt.

Triana S.Triana S.: First off I got the 1.5 liter and it was larger than I expected. Although I didnt really know how big 1.5 liters was. It has enough room for 3 people which is awesome! My photo is one packet ramen noodles, pho broth, with kimchi and 1 egg. It heated up my concoction super fast on high. It was faster than my electric kettle. I may use it for my tea water now. Tastes better than my microwave and I didnt have to use my gas stove to conserve gas that my water heater uses. Yay! I got the turquoise/ mint color but it different than the photo cause it has a little white flower details on the front! Not just plain. However I love this surprise and extra girly detailing. But if you dont want the flowers well keep that in mind. The steamer top is amazing for steaming veggies or fish. I haven't used the egg thing but it looks like you could boil or do like a 3 min soft boil with the accessory. It cleans all right. I just stick soap and water in it and run it for a few mins on heat and then dump wipe and rinse. I highly recommend this item. Great price too!

Tasha T: I ordered this Kettle after extensive search f the features that matter most for a global traveller. This ketle has fully covered heating element which means you can clean the inside even if you use it to heat soups or make instant noddles and not just heat water alone. The lid is plastic but the bottom part is steel, Most others have plastic lids only. The lid comes apart which is a hugh benefit for easy cleaning and for stiring. It also allows the use of the kettle beyond 3 min auto cut off most kettes have if you keep the lid open. Unique and very practical feature if you want to boil beyond water. Lead is excellent flat 3 core cable and of good length. Both space saving and high quality. Plug will need an adopter but US 3 pin plugs are most compact. Use of adopter therefore will add little bulk. The manual says switch voltage for use but the sticker at the bottom says100 to 240v 50hz to 60hz range. There is no switch to select the volatge but I assume it will therefore (hopefully) work globally without switching. This is one area that the seller must clarify or put a sticker on the kettel. Switching manually is a pain but auto switching is very useful.The voltage range means...
