m & mm & m: Just made sausage, biscuits & gravy 😋
We went to Yosemite national Park a couple weeks ago, and to our dismay, the quality of the food was not very good & way overpriced.
As soon as I got home, I started looking into a multifunction Cooker that I could use in a hotel room . I already had a personal size blender, smallish juicer & a one cup coffee pot. I just didn’t have anything that could cook or reheat food that can fit in a suitcase.
So far this little hot pot is a hit!
First I cooked the sausage, wiped out most of the grease then cooked the biscuit (probably needs 7-8 min per side) & then the gravy.
This pot can hold 5 cups/40 oz of water at the max line.
Cons: the bottom of the pot is not a smooth surface and has a little ledge which might make it hard to cook an egg.
I do wish there was
* a “keep warm” option
* a pour spot to pour hot water
* the steamer basket had some way to fit all the way inside the pot
I have not yet seen how well it fits in my “culinary” suitcase.

J. J.J. J.: If you are on the fence, my advice is to get it! It is small, it can steam, boil, simmer and sautee, all basic function for a longer work trip. I used it recently on my 2 week work trip, I stayed in a fancy hotel that only offers a tea cattle, a fridge and a coffee maker, this little gadget allowed me to cook fresh veggies, steam seafood/ rice dish and to reheat leftover easily. Just go to a nearby supermarket, pick up my fresh veggies and half pound of gulf shrimp or small piece of steak, I can eat quality food at a fraction of the price you found at a nice restaurant. For trip longer than 10 days, bring it, and you won't regret it.

As far as the product quality, it functioned as expected, nothing fancy or difficult to use, zero issue. The $20+ spent on this mini cooker saves me hundreds for the trip, but more importantly, I can eat fresh veggies and quality food during my work trip. Best $$ spent!

works well off normal AC power, and enjoy using it for ramen and similar dishes.

probably ideal for dorm use or single room occupancies. will cook rice, noodles, and ive seen videos of people making bread with it. a nifty little device.

P RileyP Riley: The first thing I wanted it to do was make a package of ramen and it came out great! Then to heat up things like the curry that a friend had given me...yum! Then, I started experimenting (servings for one, I use it in my work studio!) - steak/med. rare, shallots, mushrooms with assorted grilled veggies (cooked in two parts)...YUM!. Then, I tried the steamer tray (about 3 cups of water on high setting)...yum again! - Cleaning: while it is still warm I add a little warm/hot water (no soap) to the bottom and wipe with paper towel to grab water and stuff then dry with soft wash cloth. I cut things in small chunks so it had the best chance of cooking well. It has two heat settings and they seem fine and I just need to work the learning curve for how they work best for me. SO, I could not be more pleased! I smile at it when I walk by!

Rhee: I like that there are 2 cooking temps, but wish there was a medium temp. I like that there is a ceramic non-stick interior that is safe and easy to clean. The price is reasonable and it comes with a 1 year warranty. That shows the seller cares about the sale. It will really cook just about anyway you want with the steamer tray and vented heavy lid.
What I don't like is the cord. It is very thick & heavy. It has not relaxed from being coiled up for shipping! The pot is so light weight, the cord could make the pot unstable! Also, the low temp setting only seems to heat one side of the pot? I usually start on high and bring it up to a good cooking temp, then turn to low. The last complaint is the location of the cord socket and the on/off temp knob. Both are on the bottom of the pot on opposite sides. It makes cleaning a bit difficult. I am not one to simply wipe a pot out without soap & water! Also, the size is only 1.2 Liter, which is quite small. Love to see these bugs worked out by the mfg. and sell a larger size? There Is a Market for small electric appliances that can multi-task!!
