FoxyHalo: They may have been psycho but this was tame compared to dark twisted I have previously read. It had a few typos and grammatical errors as did the previous title to the series. Which unfortunately is stopping me from continuing.

Andrea McCormick: While the author warns you at the beginning that this is a dark story, I didn’t realize how dark until I was into it and invested. There are lots of dark trigger warnings; stalking, rape, murder, kidnapping, Stockholm syndrome. Like I said dark, Tino has watched over Angel and her sister since he killed their father, now he wants, no has to have Angel, he waits until she is 18 and almost married to his son, before he takes her and marries her himself, but can Angel really love the man that stalked her, kidnapped her and forced himself onto her.

Jujob: Before reading this book take note of the trigger warnings as it can seriously mess with your mind.

I enjoy the Mafia age gap troupe and wasn't disappointed with this story however, it is darker than the usual Mafia stories. There were times when I wondered if the next page would take the story outside of my comfort zone altogether but H did wait until she reached 18 before enacting on his obsession.

Worth reading to the end

Aimee: Plot; Good, first of these really stalker vibes I've managed to finish. Liked the age gap and forbidden, though it wasn't really forbidden as she wasn't ever really Leo's.

There were many annoying points, mostly regarding Angel. She just acted like a 16 17 year old girl. Which I guess she was, but then seeing no maturing throughout, growth is probably one of the most important things.

The plot twist with Leo toward the end didn't feel natural, yes some might say, but it was unexpected. It didn't feel that way it felt thrown in because it needed an exciting incident before the finale. To add to this explanation of it being thrown in, why would Tino have left Nicole with Leo if he was how the end of this book made him?
Nicole, a character that had nearly no reason to be in the book.

Tino, he deserved his own space because he was the most consistent and mature, even with his weird obsession that never really felt natural. He was the best written and least annoying.

H: Read in one sitting, sleep is for the weak. This is taboo and forbidden romance done in the most dangerously addictive way possible. If that’s not your thing then don’t read this, seriously just walk away now. Tino is not the good guy but he IS her guy, wether she wants to admit that or not. I can’t not say how delicious this book is, I can barely contain myself to write this review before I read the epilogue. I need a cold shower

After reading Italian Marriage I jumped right into The Italian Obsession. In this one, we get a very young woman that is watched but not touched until she is closer to 18. I wouldn't read this book if a huge age gap or having a stalker is a problem.

Tino is a man obsessed with his girl, when he kills her father and watches over her for years to make sure she is well taken care of, there is literally nothing he wouldn't do for his next wife. He is not a nice man at all so don't misconstrue what he is doing as being so, everything he is doing is for his own selfish reasons.

Angelina has known that she has a stalker, she has felt him for years. But no one believes her and so she just keeps the gifts and feelings to herself anymore. But when she gets a new love interest and he is threatened, Tino and his son (her new love interest) promise to get to the bottom of it.

I loved this story. Tino and Angelina are a couple that is a slow burn, there is no sex right away. But the tension that you feel throughout this book keeps you going. Highly enjoyed that.

Claire: I never thought I'd enjoy an age gap romance, but kudos to rhe author who made this a dee-licious read. Its a must read for those who enjoy dark romances.
