Shopper Gal: This is a nice basic skirt that I will be able to wear with winter sweaters and boots, as well as tops with a cardigan in the fall and spring. Have worn it twice in 2 weeks already which says a lot. I have a hard time with skirts and dresses due to my short stature and some weight gain. I am 5 ft 1, 130 lb and the small fits nicely. The waistband lays smooth and flat and the fabric is thick enough to camouflage and smooth out my belly -yay! It flares out a bit and goes well with tall boots as well as shorter booties. I myself would not wear it in the summer as the fabric is a thicker knit that I think will get too hot. But should be just right for the other 3 seasons here in Ohio so to me that's a win. Have not washed it yet, hope it stays nice after washing.

Miz Anonymous: This is a nice thick cotton skirt. Very impressed actually. Hits just below knee. Does not require a slip. If you wash it gently, I'm sure it will stay nice enough for a work skirt. If you are rough with it, I have a feeling the cotton will start looking worn and may end up a casual skirt for non-work activities.
The purple in real life is more of a reddish-purple than what is shown in this photo. I was hoping for a blue-purple. Still, it's pretty.

I like the feel of the fabric as well as the way the skirt drapes over my knees (very important for a wheelchair user.
I predict I will buy another one in an additional color.
I also like the width of the elastic waistband; it stays flat rather than folding or curling in on itself.
