It’s really bright and the battery last a long time. It survived in the rain going through bushes, trees, and everything else iv bush walked through. My only complaint is that it’s a little bulky compared to other head lamps but still light with the battery and diffrent lamps. But the power and durability is worth it!

Jeffrey Frey: My wife and I now have two. She has the older fixed beam one while I now have the adjustable beam. I love this feature! In the winter I tractor plow snow often in the early morning before daylight. I get exceptional vision everywhere I turn my head to look for hazards. I wear them in the shop for any low light conditions and in particular when performing mechanical work. I keep a pair in my pickup and if I come across another vehicle in distress I wear them to see and more importantly to be seen! I keep the three triple A's battery ones everywhere, I invest in these for both of us when it counts, safety and being scene by others.

DrJack: I travel all over the country with my RV. It seems that if something is mechanically going to go wrong with my truck or RV, it will, in the dead of night. That is why I got this headlamp. I decided to see how long the battery would last with the lamp at the brightest level. It was still going strong at 4 1/2 hours of constant usage! I got tired of timing it, so I don’t even know how long the lamp will last at full brightness.. But, I’m guessing well over 6 hours. Definitely a good investment.

GridUser: This is a very bright light. Of that fact, there is no doubt. The main beam is adjustable from spotlight to floodlight, which is nice. The two LEDs on either side of the main light help for times when you need a floodlight that doesn't have to reach very far. I recently did a bunch of plumbing under a sink and the main beam was too harsh for the space I was in. The two side LEDs were perfect for this small space. I wish you could turn the power down a bit on the main beam. The company makes a flashlight that has a diffuser of some sort that you can use to dim the light a bit. They don't put it on this headlamp, probably because there wouldn't be much call for a way to dim an LED headlamp that people are most likely to use outdoors.
It has a a red LED, which is a nice touch. I go to sleep much later than my wife, so I like to turn on as few lights as possible when I go to bed. The red LED gives me enough light to get around, but isn't as intrusive as an LED that I can't make any dimmer. I think pilots use red lights in the cabin on night flights, so their night vision doesn't get messed up by looking at things in the cabin with a regular white light. But don't quote me on...

Kindle Customer: During the winter months, this is so helpful for us on our farm. Sometimes the daylight just runs out before the chores are done. Early morning feedings are much better. I've used other headlamps before but this one is always my favorite and go-to choice. Good quality light for close-up or far away. Allows use of both hands to get the job done without constantly looking for a place to prop a flashlight to get the job done.
