Danby Designer 2.6 Cu. Ft. Compact Refrigerator - Perfect for Small Spaces

Richard: Give a five stares for the company itself, bought a refrigerator for my garage and it is great so I got another one and it was not not working the way it should, making noises and popping every so often and it got little bit cold but it did not matter were you put the dial it never went any lower. Got hold of Danby and they had me do a hard start and so I did and a week later I txt them again they told me that they would send me a new refrigerator out but a newer model so now I have my new one and it is working great, will tell anybody that there refrigerator are great and the company stands behind there product and I would give 10 stares for the way they treated me yes I would buy from them again.

Jonathan B.: I have purchased this twice over the last 2-3 years and from same seller. The first one is still working, I simply wanted a second one and for a few reasons. First off, I HATE mini fridges with that tiny thing they call a freezer. Why? They tend to ice over eventually and you end up needing to defrost or thaw the fridge. What does this really mean? Down time and water cleanup. No thanks! As a bonus, you can load your freezerless mini fridge with more soda or water! That's what I call a win/win. As for the noise, it has a bit of a hum when the compressor kicks on, but it isn't obnoxious by any means. I have one sitting right next to my sectional couch downstairs and it doesn't bother me or anyone else during TV shows or movies. Lastly, this item keeps your beverages COLD. I have the temp set to 2/3 power. I would recommend buying this and I may get a third one for my garage or wood shop!

Heather W.: We have issues in the community break room fridge, so I wanted a personal one. This arrived quickly and slid under my desk in my work cubicle (check your measurements carefully, the amazon ad includes different sizes/models that have different measurements!) Storage is sufficient for 1-2 people. I like to stock up weekly on drinks, yogurt cups, creamer, fruit and cheese snacks, etc in addition to bringing my lunch daily. This has room for it all. Only complaint is the temperature control is on the top/back corner so you literally have to crawl under the desk or pull the unit out to adjust. For something obviously intended to fit under a desk you would think the manufacturer would make that more accessible.

LB7: Perfectly good small fridge. Couple negatives -- one is that the thermometer is at the back of the unit. I have it up on a shelf and so adjusting it is tricky. Second, the top shelf inside will get much colder than the lower shelves (that's expected, really, since that's how this kind of fridge has a freezer controlled from the fridge -- fortunately, turns out frozen eggs thaw just fine and can still be used. Plus I keep it a little less cold. You can be creative with the "soda can holders" in the door. Great places to put avocados!

Alsto the controller of temperature is outside not inside the fridge.

Protein: I LOVE this fridge. It fits EXACTLY under my desk at my office. It is very cold and I have it about half way. It has no freezer so no worries about having to defrost it. The shelves are adjustable. A lot of room in this fridge. Excellent buy for the money.

Vinny: Fantastic fridge, fits perfectly in my room and the temperatures are really cold. At the coldest setting liquids will start to freeze. It can hold a whole lot of cans, bottles, containers etc. The price point is outstanding, it really is a steal for a high quality product. This is extremely quiet, I keep it near my computer which itself has quiet fans, and even those can't let me hear it. It's actually silent in this situation.

The only problem I have is the reversible door. It came opening from the left side, which happened to be the opposite of what I needed. To swap which way it opens you have to unscrew a total of 10 screws to move everything around, which isn't too hard but can be bothersome. Other than that, I've had no issues. If you need a mini fridge this is the one you want.
