Daddy Van's All Natural Beeswax Furniture Polish with Lavender & Sweet Orange Oil - Chemical-Free Wood Wax Conditioner

Finngirl: Years ago (more than 15), we got an oak table and bench from Crate & Barrel. It came unfinished and the recommendation was to use beeswax to treat it. Daddy Van's was the recommended product at the time and I bought the lavender-scented wax. Since it was time to replenish the supply I looked at Daddy Van's again and selected one with orange-oil this time. The scent is very pleasant and it spreads easily. I'm happy and the table & bench seem happy.

Pat's Kindle: Daddy Van’s beeswax had made my furniture and kitchen cabinets look new again. It takes very little to do each piece. Key is to buff and buff each piece.
I am recommending this to anyone who enjoys their furniture and cabinets.

White Rabbit: This has a strong scent in the tin but very little once applied. It’s fine. Very little of it for the price. Next time I’ll stick with traditional paste wax.

DeLana: First of all, the price of this amazing product is eminently reasonable for the quality, not to mention the prompt shipment. I'd first ordered two of the 6 oz. Beeswax Sweet Orange Oil furniture polish and loved the ease of application and how it brought my huge oak wood table back to life, bringing out the color and vibrant beauty of the striated wood panels of my beloved table that's been through so many of my life adventures for decades. I used the first two containers of Daddy Van's to enhance all my wood furniture and ordered two more of the Beeswax and Lavender polish and was amazed when I applied it to some pretty well-worn and scratched kitchen cabinet surfaces the scratches and scars miraculously disappeared totally restoring the cabinets to like-new color and texture. I'm loving this product like their advertising says "Love Your Wood." It's the best furniture wax/polish I've ever used and I highly encourage others to try Daddy Van's with its lovely mild scent, a thoroughly restorative product that makes wood look like new! Jessica F: The price is quite high for such a small amount of product. I initially purchased this to use with Annie Sloan chalk paint. When it arrived, I loved the smell so much that I decided to try it on a few pieces of furniture. I was not at all impressed with the result - however, I DO prefer a shiny finish, which this product does not produce (as noted by the previous reviewer). Not only was there a dull finish but some of the imperfections in my darker wood furniture looked to be more pronounced and enhanced after using this product, not so much on lighter wood. My kitchen table is a light-colored oak and has some scratches, marks and wear. It appeared to look slightly better after applying this, but not enough to justify the price. Also, it leaves a tacky film behind that seems to attract dust (although I did use a lot). I have 2 identical end tables - I used this product on only one, and after a few days, the table I used this product on needed to be dusted again vs. the one I used pledge on. For my regular furniture needs, I think I will stick with pledge.

In terms of the chalk paint, I LOVE this product. I apply this after 1 or 2 coats of chalk paint and then sand/distress...
