David FisherDavid Fisher: I got my first DaVinci Mini+ two years ago and it is still running well. This is my third one. It is very simple to set up and start printing right away. I use Fusion 360 for my designs and the use the included splicer to generate the printer instructions. I run them a lot and have very few problems. Their tech support has been useful if sometimes slow and I was able to repair the few problems I have had pretty easily. The wireless feature is still not perfect, but on this latest printer it has worked pretty well. You generally have to use their filament, although there is an open spool available now so you can use any filament if you want to get this option as a spare part. But, their PLA filament is pretty cost effective in the 1 kg spools and it is nice that it keeps track of the amount used for you. My only real complaints are that they do not offer the PETG in 1 kg spools so it is more expensive than other suppliers and it generally takes them a few days to ship filament and since it is coming from CA plus another week to get to me. Not sure how in this day and age they do not ship same day and they need a East coast shipping option that offers all the products.

Justin: *********UPDATED REVIEW***********
Now being 5 months into the hobby (and now business) that is 3D printing, I can tell you in good faith, avoid XYZ printing at ALL COSTS. Their system is not open source, filament is locked to their overpriced inconsistent brand, quality control does not exist, and customer service is somehow worse.
Their filament is more expensive than any normal roll on Amazon, and only comes with 60% of the material. If you wish to use 3rd party filament, you have to purchase an "open nfc chip" for $50 and print a spool holder because the stock one does not support 1kg rolls. Fast forward 5 months, I had a small screw loose tension (guess expansion due to heat and sheered at the head, subpar materials for ya) and cause the fan assembly to move forward maybe 5mm, enough to clash with the case and seize the motors making an atrocious noise. The Prendergast is now inoperable. Ive made 4 attempts to contact manufacturer via Amazon, Facebook, and direct user portal, no dice. Had to open an a to z claim and they refunded 10 cents as a giant slap in the face. Currently pending an to z appeal.
Go with an anycubic, they stand by their products...

Forest: I mean the printer itself is fine, it works very well. but the thing is the quality of the filament came with the printer was terrible. it broke inside the machine and jam it. you can not use 3rd party filament, because they put chips in their filament roll, and they block it on their driver and software, so basically they force you to use their terrible filament. what a shame

oooooo: Very good printer for beginners. I am 13 years old and have printed a couple of objects. The printer works well with the xyzprinting gallery, thingiverse, and tinkercad. The only objects that don’t work out so well for me are words. Also, it is best if you apply a coat of glue to the print bed, because if you don’t, it may have rounded edges (like the Statue of Liberty pictured). It is fairly simple to use the XYZ designing and printing software. Overall, this is a very high-quality printer for everyone and is well worth your money and time.

SnowDropAngel: This is actually a really cool machine and very customizable and intuitive. I have never had a 3d printer before so I was super excited to give this a go. I needed to print a piece for my Hasbro Clue game that I had lost and thought this to be the perfect opportunity.
The machine itself is actually super easy to setup and fairly quick to get you going. The instructions are easy to follow and the software needed installs fairly quickly. The software allows you to pick from some stock ideas or allows you to upload your own models and view them. You can also make some limited alterations like the sizing of the item but you can't do so much customizing when it comes to fill density or other more intricate things as I have researched are possible on more expensive and higher level machines.
This is a great entry level machine and allows you to have fun and play with the possibilities of a 3d printer. Great way to start.

SaraSara: This 3d printer does a great job I just have one complaint the cover that comes with it for the bed is not that great but it has an easy fix if you use painters tape instead works great definitely worth buying

Thomas G. WakefieldThomas G. Wakefield: What I liked about the Mini W+ is the fact that it's pretty much plug and play and with the upgraded extruder nozzel you can print carbon and metalic filaments. Now the issues that I dislike about it. First the instructions are poorly written as it tells you to download the XYZMaker software( which in an of itself isn't bad). The problem sits in the fact that you're downloading the wrong software... Even if you download it it's still not able to print until you download the XYZPrint software as well as the actual printer software which is listed as XYZWare(something that the instructions fail to mention). Yes it does get kind of confusing downloading all these softwares.. Also none of the software is actually compatible with Fusion 360 which is what I use to do all of my designs... Secondly the chipping of the filament is a huge draw back considering that every other manufacturer has allowed for use of third party 1.75mm filaments plus when the chip hits 0 on it's counter there is usually a good third of a roll left. This last part is something that XYZ needs to re-evaluate especially if they aren't going to furnish an app that is capable of resetting the chip.
