TG: I really liked this product. It was easy to apply and it does look great. However, the wallpaper strip does not come wide enough to cover the entire countertop….have to connect and match up both of pieces together is almost impossible. ..other than that …it was easy to put on …sticks really well …and looks great…..but need wider size options available …. I would buy this product again.… thinking about doing my kitchen counter next

Fatima OFatima O: Used this for my kitchen countertops. Makes the kitchen nice and bright. Can be tricky to work with and patience needed. Might be very useful to have someone hold the roll while you are trying to line up with placed sheets. You can see where you have lined up the sheets side by side but it wasn't a major deal as the counter always has things on it. Be very careful that your counter is super clean. Even the tiniest of crumbs show through the paper. Getting air bubbles out wasn't too hard. Lifting the paper if you needed to realign, work out air bubbles, etc was easy to do. Be careful not to let the glue sides stick together as taking this apart caused some lines in the paper. Overall it was a great product for the price and will see how it holds up.

CatherineCatherine: The installation was long (6 hours, two persons) because we were perfectionists. Overall the installation was not hard, but you really need to be at least two and take your time. The product is thick and it does not matter if you peel it off and on again, it does not tear.
My main critic would be that even if we were cautious in the weeks after applying it, it stained quite easily (curry sauce fell and left a yellow stain) and our slow-cooker also left a mark because the legs caused friction on the counter when we moved it.
We are planning to do some touch ups in the futur. Overall, for the price, it's a really beautiful upgrade if you're ready to tolerate the little marks over time.

Monica FrigonMonica Frigon: *** UPDATE ***
I've finished the kitchen reno (amateur with dreams of a pro finish =) ) and added the bar table poured epoxy on the peel and stick. That step is vital because it takes it from semi-believable to the true, glassy finish you'd find on white marble! People who see this countertop think it's real. Would I use this product again? Without hesitation.
*** ORIGINAL POST BELOW ***
As far as using a peel and stick method to update my kitchen counter, I was under no illusions that it wasn't going to compete with the real thing, which we have in our other kitchen. I'm updating a basement kitchen on the cheap so this fit the bill. Surprisingly though, the material worked better than I thought and looks really, really good. Once I add the thick pourable epoxy clear coat it will look very realistic and be protected against knicks and scratches.
PROS:
1. super high gloss which works really well for the white marble look
2. If you screw up placement (and you will) it's forgiving: you can simply lift it and move it without damaging the adhesive
3. Slightly more durable and thicker than the Dollar Store stuff which tears easily and doesn't have that...

Arlington Anne: I don't remember contact paper being so nice. This gives a glossy semi-hard finish that's easy to clean. It was so easy to apply - just remember not to pull the backing off too much at a time. I overlapped the edges and pieced around corners and around the faucet, and from a couple of feet away, you would have no idea it wasn't one continuous piece. The marble pattern does a great job of hiding seams. I applied it in sections - from the refrigerator to the stove in one afternoon, which took maybe half an hour; from the stove past the sink to the end of the breakfast bar the next night, which took maybe an hour; and a 5' island which went super-fast, maybe 20 minutes or less.
I used this to cover temporary plywood counters that are due to be replaced with stone in about three weeks, and all I did to prepare for application was to dust thoroughly with a paper towel, scrape off blobs of glue (this is scrap plywood from construction), and knock off splinters. I found that pinching the foil along the sharp edges and corners was helpful in getting good adhesion and a flat finish. I got the kit with the razor cutter, so I could wrap and then cut a clean edge. Otherwise, it was a...

Meowling: I work in a design office and I chose this design specifically for its marble print (as it is not too heavy), its feel to the touch (not toooo plasticy), and its reflective response to light. As someone who cannot afford to replace surfaces for the real thing, this is as real and as cheap as you can get it for the results it offers. Must be cleaned with windex or other soft/natural based solution.
Pros:
- Great quality (made in Germany)
- Looks like marble even from up close- great for quick remodeling in bathrooms, dressers, and smaller tables.
- Forgiving to unpeel (small sections at a time) and fix mistakes when installing
- Easy to cut with an x-acto knife for precise edges around sinks etc.
- Waterproof
Be Aware:
- MAKE SURE TO REALLY CLEAN YOUR SURFACE (any stray dust, small dirt, or exposed imperfections will show through as tiny bumps).
- A bit tedious to install (but hey, if it were easy to do it well, everyone would do it).
- Cannot use it on long surfaces due to the abrupt finish (only about 17in wide). SO NO LONG KITCHEN COUNTERTOPS.
- If you unstick an entire sheet at once, you would have to throw it away.
- Does not stick...

Stephanie: Renovated our travel trailer and this stuff transformed the look entirely. Use the applicator tools that come with it and you'll be fine (razor blade, and soft edge scraper). I placed it on our counter tops in the kitchen, the dinette table, the little end caps in the slide beside the couch, and the bathroom counter tops. Very easy to apply and even if you mess up you can peel it back up *carefully* and reapply. The only issue I had with it was not wanting to stick on the bottom portion. As in; when you wrapped the table, the piece that went under the table as excess seemed like it kept wanting to unstick. I just used a stapler to fix this after I tried multiple time to rub it down. I was applying this with the AC on about 75 degrees, when outside it was 100 degrees (August in NC). We turn off the AC during the day and night, and only run it when we are working in it in the evenings after work. 2 weeks and its held up fine. If that changes, I will update the review to reflect. It cleans like a normal countertop, but I'm not sure how much roughness it will take. I have been trying not to scuff it with tools as we are still working on the camper. But it has held up to laying heavy...
