Torsten: The media could not be loaded.  Die Größe unseres Wohnzimmer mit angrenzendem Esszimmer beträgt ca. 57m². Es dauert immer gefühlt eine Ewigkeit bis die Wärme im Esszimmer ankommt. Hier kommt der Ofenventilator ins Spiel. Er sorgt dafür dass die aufsteigende warme Luft schneller im Raum verteilt wird und somit der Raum sich schneller erwärmt. Er kommt ohne eine externe Energiequelle aus. Durch den Temperaturunterschied zwischen dem heißen Fuß und den Kühllamellen wird eine Spannung erzeugt welche den Ventilator mit Energie versorgt sobald der Ofen warm genug ist.
Eine tolle Sache und eine einmalige Anschaffung, definitiv ihr Geld wert.

Alex: Habe den Lüfter als Geschenk für einen Freund gekauft, der einen Kamin hat. Aus meiner Sicht ist es ein sehr schönes Geschenk für die kalte Jahreszeit (zu Weihnachten?). Ich finde die Idee gut, die Ausführung gefällt mir auch. Durch die gleichmäßige Verteilung der Wäre im Raum spart man auch noch energie.

MrGBMrGB: The motor is still an electric component but does not need batteries , it does work fine near my fireplace. It took some time to start spinning but once done it does fast and moves heat in the room. I would not suggest to place it directly or too near the fire. There are plastic components in the motor like cables. It did work fine .no issues.

TeachingmomTeachingmom: Our house uses solar electric and a heat pump as it’s primary heating source. To keep our electric bills low in the winter, we use our wood stove as one of the primary sources of heat. These fans do an awesome job pushing out air. We also turn on our house fan to help circulate the output of these fans. They look great and installation is easy because it uses the heat from the stove to generate the moment.

AnonymousOneAnonymousOne: The media could not be loaded.  Have used heat-powered wood stove fans for a few years, and appreciate the small amount of heat that they blow away from the stove.

Due to the fact that a limited amount of heat can be converted into electricity to power a fan of this type, the amount of warm air that they can move is also limited. But, any warm air movement from the fan does help to move some heated air to other parts of my home.

I began looking on Amazon for a stove fan that would start to rotate at a lower temperature than the fans I now use, and saw this one and wanted to try it.

The best fans of this type will begin moving air at low stove temperatures. That is where this particular fan shines. The blade begins to rotate at 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Amazing! Other fans I use begin rotating at much higher temperatures such as 150F to 200F.

Since it is still summer, I did not want to fire up the wood stove, so I tested this fan by heating it using an electric coffee cup warmer. See the photos and video for details.

Looking closely at this fan, it seems to be well made and I hope it will work for many heating seasons.

Client d'Amazon: Ne pas s'attendre a une soufflerie, ce petit ventilateur deplace juste l'air chaud un peu plus loin que le poele mais suffit a desaturer la chauleur tres proche, l'ideal serait d'en avoir deux, un de chaque cote pour plus d'efficacite, un peu bruillant par moment quand il vibre par trop de vitesse, il faut juste le recaler, apres satisfait de cette energie par la chaleur gratuite ca fonctionne tres bien.
