I was completely unprepared… I found a sweet dog in the street. Was almost hit and I had to help her. I brought her home and could not find owners. and realized… She was in heat!!!! No!!! I’ve never had a dog who went into heat… It made an already stressful situation worse. I had no idea you could buy dog diapers. I used baby diapers and it was a nightmare trying to keep them on the dog and I was cleaning up constantly. It was a horrible experience. I didn’t have the heart to take her to a shelter. She’s absolutely the sweetest dog ever and I recently lost my dog. I ended up keeping her and to my surprise…a month later… ended up figuring out she was pregnant and delivering her puppy. Thankful she only had one puppy, I decided to keep the puppy also. Made appts for both dogs to be spayed but the soonest appt I could get was late August. AnnaAnna: I’ve previously purchased these in a size small but my dog has grown out of that size, and these are perfect.
The adjustable leg openings are great because if your dog has a bit of a belly, you can use a bigger size and size down the leg openings.
They’re fully waterproof, and no leakage either.
Personally I hand wash these to avoid them getting ruined, and haven’t had any issues, so I do recommend hand washing to prolong the life of the product.
I recommend purchasing two packs so you have more to rotate through and they have time to dry out (your dog will thank you).

Michelle gaudreaultMichelle gaudreault: I bought this brand a few years back. I would strap some tape around my dogs waist on the diaper to keep it on her. The Velcro wasn’t strong enough she could take them off. Using pins for it to hold. They where amazing regardless! She was due for new ones. I’m stunned! Velcro stays in place! They even putted Velcro inside the flaps so they don’t flap out and your dog can’t take it off. No more tape no more pins! And they don’t budge. Just amazing how they have improved!! Best choice of material as they are really easy to clean and they barely stain. They are gorgeous. Don’t overthink it , get those for your pet!

J. Hunter: Great product, although I still use a period pad/liner with them. (But not necess.) They stay in place on my Doberman and she doesn't mind them.

Emilie FontaineEmilie Fontaine: Perfect fit, my 20 lbs frenchie with a size 8. I bought one at the pet store for 40$ that wouldn’t stay on. This one with the snaps helps a lot for a frenchie. This diaper stays put! Super easy to clean too, I just dump in the laundry and come back white inside. Great product, strong velcros and super adjustable around the legs as well (with an elastic band).

Elisa: I have an elderly dog that's 25 pounds. Mediums work for her. I was going to use ladies fem pads, but discovered that these work for her. I bought 2 sets for a total of 6. Toss them outside if they're wet to dry. When I have 4 or 5 I need to wash I do it all at once on a short 15 minute cycle. I attempted to hand wash, but you can not get the urine smell out. Elderly dogs are always going to need these in my opinion.
The fit for the velcro is not really good. It only velcros on the top. The sides have the padded portion that velcro could stick to, but they don't have the grabby part of the velcro. Occasionally I have to re-do the diaper if she's been walking around in it. It still will works, just looks a bit like it's coming undone on the sides is all. Very fashionable colors though and good fit

S. CastilloS. Castillo: I decided to try these instead of some from another manufacturer I'd bought from previously only because I was in a bind and didn't like their color availability at the time. Big mistake. These were nearly the same price but nowhere near as well made. No matter how much I varied the adjustment at the legs and waist it would either gap, fold over on itself, or just bunch up weirdly. In less than a day she figured out how to get out of them and I ended up cleaning blood off my sheets and couches.
Maybe if I'd never bought any others I would think this is the norm or that I'd chosen the wrong size, but these supposedly had the same fitting as the other brand. You can see in the pic what happens, and this was after trying over half a dozen adjustments!
I can't be the kind of person to return something my dog has bled on already, so guess it's live and learn and throw out afterwards with this choice.

For anyone whos interested here's how I go about potty training all of my dogs to do their business outdoors on a leash accompanied by me. My girl had a few pee pee accidents in the beginning while she was still getting used to her new home with us & getting into a regular eating & potty outdoors routine. For the first few months there were occasional accidents indoors so whenever I was unable to keep my eye on her if I was doing house hold chores for a little while, then I would put one of these diapers on her to protect my rugs.
My girl has since learned that pee pee & poo poo are best done outdoors and rarely ever has any accidents indoors anymore. I never, ever, ever yell at her. or hit her I never have and never will. She can just tell when a potty accident happens by looking at my sad face while I'm cleaning it up that it's not what I want her to do and I calmly say a firm 'no' but not meanly.
