I use this on my Cuisinart grill. It has heavy, quality grates. I either clean it while the grill is still hot or before grilling once the grill heats up. It works great. The grill is so clean using only water.
I’m not sure how it would work on a cheaper grill. I’m sure it would clean it, but cheaper grates might get damaged.
