Works very well, much more solidly built than my previous one, maybe they don’t make them like in the previous millennium anymore, but it is solid. Toasts everything perfectly, you just have to find the setting you like. I would recommend it.

This toaster works great on toast, pancakes, waffles or bagels. It may take a couple of tries to get the right heat setting for how you like your toast or whatever but it is pretty consistent after that. Several settings, each two slice side has it's own setting, such as defrost(frozen waffles?), bagel, reheat? and cancel. So waffles on one side and toast on the other side with their own settings, nice. The handles let you pop up small pieces so you don't need to reach near a hot surface. Certainly looks good but we still got the cover. Wife likes a clean looking countertop. Very easy to clean, just pull out the bottom tray.

I have had this toaster for nearly a year. I am not a fan, and am shopping for a new toaster that actually toasts properly. This toaster does not toast evenly, the bagel setting is useless, and it can't manage English Muffins without burnt edges and a nearly raw middle. I thought that the Cuisinart brand would be good, but sadly, I have been disappointed.
