Sherry Mc: I found out I am allergic to egg yokes and realized I can't have my favorite dessert, ice cream. A neighbor told me about her ice cream maker she had with recipes that didn't use eggs. She let me use hers to see if I was interested in purchasing one. I made the Butter Pecan recipe and it was delicious and so easy to make. Just whole milk, heavy cream, vanilla, Pecans, butter and salt. No chemicals. I did find once you make the ice cream and put it in the freezer to set up it takes longer than the 2 hours suggested. I left mine overnight and it was perfect the next day. The unit was easy to clean. I was so thrilled with this machine I purchased one for my daughter and her family.

pearl: I didn't know if I was going to like this machine.
I made my first batch of ice cream and I was sold.
So easy to put together and to operate.
I make my own ice cream at home because I eat no fat, no sugar added foods. So I have to make my own.
I made a no fat no sugar added pumpkin spice soft serve ice cream with this machine. I made a copycat dairy queen soft serve ice cream no fat no added sugar. This product is fun. And its great to sit down and eat something and no worries, you know what's in and it's safe clean and good for you.
Came out awesome.
Just a reminder, when using this machine. Remember to turn the machine on then pour the ingredients in the bowl as it is turning. You can't put the ingredients in first then turn it on. The paddle won't turn.
This machine is a no brainer. Not hard or difficult to use the product. Work smarter not harder, this product works.

Alberto Segovia Meza: Sencilla de ocupar, materiales de calidad, buen precio, literal cualquier bebida la convierte en helado, sugiero ponerle las aspas y prenderla para después colocarle la mezcla porque si se la colocas antes corres riesgo de que ya no entren las aspas porque las paredes lo congelan. Ocupen una mezcla fría para que tenga consistencia más sólida y en 15min ya tienen listo su helado. Muy recomendable 10/10

El kratos Ω: Edito porque en el quinto uso ha empezado a hacer un sonido extraño el motor, no tengo mucho usándolo, le quitaré una estrella esperando que sea algo poco común, pero si el motor se descompone lamentablemente ya pasé mi mes de garantía con Amazon.

Es un producto simple pero funciona y lo más importante facilita la creación de un helado casero con textura de uno profesional, vale la pena.

Funcionamiento.
Es sencillo, se debe enfriar en el congelador el vaso de aluminio que trae el producto, dentro del vaso trae un líquido que ayuda a mantener el frio por 20 minutos mientras creas el helado. Enciendes el aparato con tu mezcla y en 20 minutos máximo quedará tu helado.

Un día completo se debe enfriar el vaso para mejor resultado, trae un recetario pero básicamente todos los helados del recetario necesitan de crema para batir, este ingrediente sirve para darle cremosidad al helado, también puedes hacer a base de agua, de hecho fue el primero que hice, uno de limón y quedó delicioso, queda como el del cine de la marca ice.

HashimHashim: To be honest one of my best purchases here. Love it and going to buy 2 more as gifts for my sister and friend!
First I consider my self and wifey are ice-cream lover and addict sometimes!
We did some flavors until now and we will try more

Some comments before you buy it:
Noisy? yes, but not to level that bothers me.
Small for big family? maybe! for two of us we make one bowl every week (depend on feel and desire). you can buy second bowl ( I have it but never use it)
Easy to use? yes, using it easy. The tricky part is what you put in it! ( more explain will come)

Useful tips we did and worked for us:
1- If you love ice-cream heavy, hard, and texture smooth (like I do), You need to use heavy cream with your regular milk. If you are ok with light soft serve, milk with half and half will do the trick.
2- Do not over load the bowl with a lot of addetive ingredients. Its going to be difficult to freeze and unit as one texture. like adding a lot of chocolate ships or a lot of shredded coconut, that is no no.
3- 20 -25 min is proper time, Slightly less than is ok if you put less total ice-cream mix. I don't recommend going more than 30min! why?...

abcandd2: I have more of a problem with the manual than the machine, because it wasn't the troubleshooting help it could have been. What did help was this page's Question and Answer section, with all the user feedback!

So my first batch didn't turn out so well. I used half and half, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. I'd have used regular cream, but I can't find any pure heavy cream in my area that isn't full of preservatives and additives containing free glutamic acid and other scary stuff.

I froze the bowl for 14 hours. The gel was frozen solid. The manual said that the bowl should be in the freezer for 16-24 hours, but it also said that when you didn't hear the liquid gel swishing, it was sufficiently frozen. So I thought optimistically, "Oh! That must mean my freezer's just a super-freezer and got it cold enough in record time! Yay!" Um, no.

I have learned that just because the gel is frozen, that doesn't mean its temperature is as low as it can go - or should go. As I discovered, it needs to go a lot lower than "frozen solid" to work with this machine. Since it probably freezes around 32 degrees F (0 Celsius), the manual probably shouldn't say to use the lack of...
