Release Thekraken: They’re not perfect, but they work and aren’t noticeable, and they’re one of a kind. I used them flat as the fold over method used in the video looked bulky and unnatural. When applied flat someone would really need to study your cuffs to tell something is different. I used them for studs also but when I got the pictures I could see past the buttons into my shirt from side angles. Wouldn’t use them on studs.

Sarah: I bought cuff links as a surprise gift for my husband and my dad on my wedding day. I wasn't sure if their dress shirts had cuff link adapters and didn't want to raise any questions by asking, so I bought these in case. They didn't need them, but they're good to have on hand. Easy to use and comes with a lot of them.

F: Looks kind of sloppy. OK product if it's dark or an evening affair. It's easier to just pick a couple shirts you want to wear cuff links with, remove the outer sleeve button and have a small cuff link hole tailored where the button is. I had it done for $9. Then you can still use the inner sleeve button and wear them as regular shirts when you want to as well. Of course, this assumes you don't have massive wrists and need the outer sleeve button.
Great idea and the look is "passsable" but not the cleanest. Worth a try though.

Ross: This products does work as advertised, and they are still holding up after many many uses. but I recommend for people that really need to look polished to follow these steps. This is for the technique where you tuck the cuffs inside out as show in the video above. Iron the cuff's on the shirt the best you can. Cut any dangling threading on the inside of the cuffs off. If you have threading dangling it will be obvious you have the cuff's inside out. Once this has been tackled, now proceed to follow the video above. But I strongly recommend to put these suckers in the night before and get it all setup on your dress shirt the night before. This includes the fancy cuff links you are going to wear. You don't want to be playing around with this when you are tight on time. It no doubt gives the look of a French cuff shirt, but some playing around has to be done with the cuff's to make it look straight and proper, once you get it looking right your all set and nobody will notice the difference except you. I had somebody ask me where I got the French cuff shirt from, so yes you will fool people.

Leon LaMont: I really like the idea behind these cufflink adapters, and especially considering how expensive a relatively decent dress shirt with a French cuff is compared to the same shirt with a couple buttons instead of an extra hole. I have to say that these things do, technically, work as advertised - at least in my experience.
However, I try to buy dress shirts that actually fit me, or are close enough to proper length that it doesn't affect the image. I don't tailor most of my clothes, although I should, but fit is still important. As such, I can say that these adapters don't work as well for a sleeve of proper length as it initially seemed. Either the sleeve will be pulled up too high, or it'll be too tight due to the extra thickness from doubling the cuff and pulling it together enough to actually connect (this coming from an underweight fellow). At worst, you may run into both at the same time, which somehow felt like I was suffocating despite only my lower arm being in the choker.
Now, one of the provided videos shows a second way of wearing them, which has worked the best for my dress shirts. As he points out, someone else may notice your adapter, and the cuff may be...
