Crest Pro-Health Pro|Active Defense Deep Cleaning Toothpaste for Complete Oral Care

Retired Music Prof: I got this toothpaste by accident. I wanted Crest Pro-Health Advanced, and this is called Crest Pro Active Defense. The manufacturer, P & G, manufactures many different varieties of toothpaste, but calls all of them Crest and gives them confusingly similar names. This comes in a tube about 20% smaller than the other kind, but the price is about the same. The taste and mouth feel is pleasant, but this product does not dissolve as well as other tooth pastes. It leaves a thick deposit on my tooth brush between the bristles, and I have to use something to push it out -- water will not wash it out. We use a sink strainer in our vanity drain, and it makes a thick deposit there also. I have to clean the strainer manually. I don't know what long term use of this product might do to our plumbing. Wish I had been able to get the Crest variety that I actually wanted.

Kaitlyn: I like the way this toothpaste frothed up to get deep in between the teeth. My mouth also feels fresh after I wake up, and all day at work.

Health: I have used this toothpaste. Oral health is important for confidence, and this toothpaste delivery good results. It reduces breath significantly. The freshness last a long time.

RedHeadFred: Been using Crest products for decades so I like the product. The Pro-Health version foams up more than the standard Crest version with the intent of getting in between teeth and below the gum line. At my first Dentist visit roughly 4-5 months after going to Pro Health both my Hygienist and Dentist noticed improvement in size of gum pockets and amount of plaque before I told them about the change. Since I didn't change my electric toothbrush that left only the toothpaste to be responsible for the change.

The Tenneys: I needed toothpaste and decided to do a search for "the best toothpaste". This one caught my eye and I'm quite glad I purchased it. I really don't buy into any of the "whitening" toothpastes; what I look for is something that's going to do a particularly good job of cleaning my teeth, and to keep my mouth feeling fresh throughout the day. This one definitely ticks those two boxes. I find that this toothpaste seems to foam more than others, but in a good way, and gets my teeth/mouth really clean, and my teeth don't start feeling grimy during the day at all. Overall, really great toothpaste. I'll most certainly be purchasing again, and would absolutely recommend. Hope that's helpful for someone!
