Don A in Gilbert: It's a great product for the money. I have trouble fastening my camera on and focusing in on a deer several hundred yards away. Forget about locking in on an animal and then trying to increase the magnification. I have been able to take some pictures on the lowest magnification. They turn out pretty well. Needs to be on a very solid tripod. The little one it comes with slides around on the tailgate when you're trying to focus in. But works well once you get there.

Roger B.: Bought this after reading many reviews. It performs much better than I thought it would. The cell phone holder was not so good, but I did not buy this scope for the accessories that came with it. The little tripod is acceptable, but I use a camera tripod for more stability. The only negative is the zoom is a bit stiff, but is getting better with time. If I exercise a little before I use the scope it works fine.
I have compared with a 102 mm Celestron scope I have with a Celestron zoom eyepiece. Of course the Celestron has big advantage in low light conditions because of the larger aperture. In normal lighting they both deliver very good images even at maximum zoom. The Glass Hawk does a better job of holding focus compared to the Celestron when using the zoom. The Celestron has a wider field of view at a given magnification, but not by much. The Glass Hawk delivers a very good image with very little chromatic aberration. There is a little chromatic aberration when viewing a bright object against a dark back ground like Jupiter, but so does the Celestron. For terrestrial viewing I don't see any in ether one. Over all the Celestron might be a little better, but I could buy six or...

tristan: For the price its definitley not worth it, the cheap Chinese made product where everything feels low quality from the adjustment knobs to the general construction materials feel like something youd expect from a hundred dollar unit. Far better scopes on the market for over half this hefty price tag
Wouldn't recommend.

West Texas: I purchased this spotting scope before doing proper research which is very unlike me. After the fact, I checked fakespot and was shocked that it said there was a high level of deception in the reviews. Then I searched the web for this scope. I could find it nowhere other than on Amazon and on the sellers own website. Uh oh...
Then I received the scope and found that it lives up to pretty much everything stated in the listing. Even at maximum zoom there is no distortion, no blur and no discoloration. Images over 300 yards away are crystal clear. The controls are all intuitive and easy to operate. I can't say enough good things about this scope. It is solid.
The table top tripod is not the greatest quality, but it is functional. Is there is a spotting scope that DOES come with a decent tripod? I might try the cell phone adapter, but I'm leery of hanging my phone five feet above the ground by a suction cup. And that little remote for snapping pictures while your phone is attached to the scope? I'll never use it. So, I won't be using the tripod, (I have a tall tripod I use), I doubt I get much use out of the phone adapter and won't be using the remote to snap pictures....

Mike Pearson: I searched and searched for a good spotting scope as a reasonable price range. I was a little taken back when it was delivered as it was an open box in the original packaging. This was not on the manufacturer but Amazon itself. In that aspect I was very disappointed. However, after I opened the package the rest of the way, I assembled it to make sure it was in good working order. Looks great! I bought this to help me sight in my rifle for hunting season on the range. This scope was AMAZING!!! From 100 yds, it was a very clear image and I was able to get dialed in. This saved a ton of walking back and forth on the range and worth every penny. I have not tried the phone adaptor yet, and doubt that I will but for the intended purpose, it was outstanding and would highly recommend to anyone in the market for the same purpose.
