Jason: Bought for a SW-loving kid and her even more SW-loving dad. With kids in mind, the Mad Libs were a little bit long and could have had more entry spots. Kids would have enjoyed a whole bunch of short silly Jedi limericks with their words inserted, rather than something like a long Emperor speech with words inserted. These MadLibs leaned too much on using movie-quoted monologues for their base material, rather than shorter and funnier exchanges, or replacing actual movie descriptions and dialogue with something like: "The Falcon was caught in a 'Chocolate' beam. Obi-wan states that there are alternatives to 'cooking'. They hide. Han says he usually uses these holds for 'shaving'. The troopers board, but do not find them. They sigh with relief and move on 'loudly'."

DOC: When I purchased these I saw that they came in a paper back book or in a spiral bound tablet. I thought the spiral bound tablet might be larger and I would be able to tear out the Mad Libs if I wanted to.

It took two weeks for this to arrive (which was a minor inconvenient considering that I have Prime). I was also disappointed because this spiral booklet is only 16 pages long. One would have hoped there would be more puzzles than that. As to the literary content, even without the blanks, the stories are very familiar to anyone who is a Star Wars fan or fanatic. I don’t think it’s worth the money but I purchased it for my honey who likes anything Star Wars and she was happy with it. But if you’re looking for something substantial — this is not. It’s also printed on the typical grayish type paperback paper.

AERT: My 7 year old daughter has recently become interested in MADLIBS (bonus points for Star Wars theme), and the fun that we have had doing these together is priceless. MADLIBS are a timeless thing. They are educational, so funny, and you can find them in any theme you could possibly imagine. I will always recommend these to everyone.
