It took me about an hour to make 11. The beads are nice, especially the large red & green ones. I only have 11 ornaments because I dropped one of the small red beads and it rolled under the couch. It’ll be there ‘til I move or the cat finds it. But, even without dropping one, I was shorted one of the green beads. That’s why I gave this 4 stars, along with my minor complaint about the color of the wire that everything is strung on. It’s a silver tinsel-like wire, and I think a gold colored wire would’ve been better, based on the colors of the beads. Note that there’s nothing to hang these with. You’ll need some string (ribbon would be too wide to fit through the tiny loop on top). I’m hoping the traditional wire ornament hangers will work. Overall, it’s a decent kit with a fair value for the money. I get involved in homemade ornament swaps every year, and I’m OK with including these. Maybe not as the primary but definitely a nice bonus. And I’ll keep 1 for my own tree.

Loved this! My 3 and 5 year olds were able to do this on their own (supervised). They had fun following the directions and it was a great craft for fine motor skills, colors, and pattern recognition. I'm tucking them away to attach to gift tags at Christmas. They will need a ribbon or ornament hanger to attach to a tree. My kitchen scissors cut the pipe cleaners just fine, no need for wire cutters or needle nosed pliers in my opinion. Finished product looks great!
