J.: I'm new to making kandi jewelry and I bought this set so I could have a wide variety of colors to start with. The beads are great, and I love the different shades available! There are only two downsides to this set (and to be fair, these things are true of many other sets out there as well):
1) The plastic stretchy string it comes with is complete garbage. Invest in some fabric-coated stretchy string instead; the last thing you want is for your string to break, either while you're in the middle of making something — especially if it's elaborate — or while you're out and about. And as a bonus, fabric-coated stretchy string comes in many different colors, so you can almost certainly find something to suit your tastes.
2) Some of the colors are impossible to find on their own, so if you run out of, say, blood orange beads, you're going to have to buy the set all over again if you want more of that color. Overall the set is great, I just wish they also sold the colors individually so you could restock easily as you run out. (I know you can buy packs of some colors individually from other sellers, but even if you can get close, they're frequently a slightly different...
