Sohns: The case looks really nice, pivots to an easel easily, and the brush is mess-free since you fill it with water (instead of dipping) and it doesn't drip. The brush strokes are very calming and the results are beautiful.

M. L. Baker: This is an amazing idea because if you have a child who likes to paint or draw or noodle this just requires water and it can save paper. Many times children just like to doodle and then there’s tons of papers laying around… Which eventually gets thrown away sometimes. What’s nice about this Buddha buddy is that if they do paint something worth saving you can just snap a picture of it and then get it printed and framed. Or just print it out and put it in an album. If it’s just a picture for fun and not worthy of saving then you just let it evaporate. This is a really practical clever gift. Great for all ages including senior citizens.

At first they sent the wrong size (mini), very simple return. The UPS store did all the work.
My board got lost in the wrong city for DAYS. They refunded my $ and then my board was delivered.
I got my Budda Board at no cost. Best value for money. This would make a great gift.

Anna: Very nice item, and the way it works makes it a very good stress reliever. However, I wish the brush provided with it could be better, because even if it is full of water and the tip gets a chance to soak, not much of the water comes out. Better off using a normal paintbrush.

SueSue: Love it! I got it for a virtual painting night activity while WFH and this board is so much fun, I cab schetch, doodle or create an abstract painting without wasting paint and materials, just water and that's all I need to create simple drawings that relaxes my mind while I am painting them. Good zen activity.

Janis Cortese: I wanted to get used to doing brush and ink artwork without using my ink or getting to attached to doing it right while learning, so I grabbed one of these. It is incredibly useful, portable, and convenient. The absence of mess even makes it usable in bed, while traveling or sitting outside, and on public transit like airplanes, buses, trains, etc. without any worries whatsoever.

Not only that, but I was very surprised and pleased to see how useful it is when practicing calligraphy and orthography. I've only just begun learning Hebrew, and the orthography is a whole new world. Using one of these to practice the script while sounding out the words has been an invaluable aid to learning. I imagine it would be useful for all manner of languages with non-Roman orthographies like Korean, Japanese, Chinese, various Indian scripts, etc. so that you can get used to the new writing system without getting too worried about getting it perfect as a new learner.

And again, I can't stress enough the convenience of the thing and the fact that it is entirely mess-free, highly portable, and requires no ink. i hope it lasts a long time; I can't really rate it on durability as I've...

RyanRyan: I love this drawing board, it can really put a person in a relaxing place. The one complaint follows what others have said about the paint brush not letting out enough water to actually paint with. The reason I gave the board 4 stars instead of 5 is I had to modify the brush to get the results that I wanted but it's super easy and I recommend you do it yourself as it made a big difference. First you unscrew the water reservoir from the bristle portion of the brush. Then firmly grip all the bristles, pinching them together in a way you won't damage them and push them upwards so they and the plastic piece they're within slide towards where the water reservoir was. Next unclick the black plastic piece that kind of acts as a cap of that piece. Once that piece is removed you'll see the non painting end of the bristles, it'll look like melted plastic. I took a safety pin and poked 12 or so holes through that end. Do it carefully so your holes don't overlap weakening the end of the bristles and if you'd like just poke maybe 6 to start and add more after testing. This will make a huge difference and will make the paint brush work excellent from now on. Enjoy your board, again I absolutely...

Javagotainment: We first saw this at an art museum while on vacation in Boulder, CO. My children played with it there, and it was right before Christmas. They begged me to buy it on the spot, but I knew we wouldn't have room in our luggage to fly it back home. I came home and found this on Amazon for the same price, and bought it. It arrived on time, and my children were ecstatic to receive it. My son is very creative and artistic, and also very hyper, and this product has the ability to keep him occupied and calm for long periods of time. I love that he can keep creating new pictures and practice writing, and we don't have to keep buying more supplies. It dries up and he can create something new. It has a very soothing, peaceful effect for anyone who uses it. I only wish it had a storage space to hold the water pen securely within the board, so that it wouldn't get lost. Other than that, this is the perfect gift for anyone.
