Create a Stylish Herringbone Design with STENCILIT's Large Wall Stencil for Painting

BrandonGibsonBrandonGibson: This product made creating this design pattern so much easier than the peel-and-stick wallpaper I previously tried. These two walls took me a total of 7hrs. Mainly because this was my first time ever using a stencil to paint a wall. Make sure to read the directions. One thing I learned was to clean the stencil every 5 feet of surface, otherwise, there may be some bleeding of the paint behind the stencil. Cleanup of the stencil was pretty simple also. I used some dish liquid, hot water, and a little pressure and it pretty much whipped right off. I would definitely recommend this product.

Hard to assemble, cheap material. Had to touch up the black on several places. Very unhappy: First of all I was impressed with the beautiful wrapping my stencil in a tub came. Also the actual stencil wasn’t too thick or too flimsy when I placed it on the wall, easy to place and paint. Over all happy with result. I missed a couple of lines but can easily be stenciled . I have a few drips, had too much paint on the roller🤦‍♂️

AmazonqueenAmazonqueen: I've included a before and after of the bathroom, I left the original wall color then used the stencil on the wall with regular black paint and a roller. You do not need a stencil brush if you don't soak up too much paint on your paint roller. You will need painters tape to tape along the stencil and I suggest cleaning wipes to remove any errors immediately from the wall, the wipes will not remove base paint. The bathroom came out extremely stunning, took me 3 hrs and into the night, I washed and dried the stencil once then went right back to it, you need to have alot of patience for this but it was all worth it. No fog mirror is also from Amazon and I love it all.

JillyJilly: These stencils are a room changer and so easy/quick to do. We receive a lot of compliments but everyone thinks it’s wallpaper. I bought these stencils for an accent wall and loved how they turned out so I did several walls with this herringbone pattern. My advice is to use a small paintbrush (like a brush for watercolor painting versus a wall paint brush) because you literally dab the lines. If you drench the lines with paint, it bleeds everywhere and you may need to repaint the wall color and start the stencil again. I did this blue wall that is 9 ft high x 8 ft wide using 1/4 cup of light grey paint for the lines. You need to use painters tape to make the stencil stay up until you’re done. Once you apply the herringbone lines, it’s best to let it dry for about 5 mins before removing the stencil and moving to the next section. If you don’t wait for the paint to dry, you may get the paint that went on the back of the stencil on the next section you move the stencil to. Waiting is worth it else you have a lot of touch-ups to do. If the back of the stencil starts to get too much paint on it, use a warm wet towel to wipe it off. Dry it before placing it back on the wall. In...
