Coming from someone upgrading from an ender 3 v2
The good: it was extremely easy to set up, the fan is very quiet (about the same as a small desk fan compared to the 3v2 sounding like a hair dryer)
The bad: the auto leveling doesn't actually do anything which is rediculous given that was a big selling point for this unit, the touch screen is prone to a lot of issues (unresponsive, freezing, registering touches that aren't happening, dead zones where it won't accept touches, and I've been having a lot of feeding issues even only using the starting filament
Overall I'm not impressed with this from creality, the cr10 is considered a truly great printer and the cr10s should be an upgrade on an already great machine and needing to fix/struggle with multiple issues right out of the box is pretty sad

Steven: I bought this printer when it first came out a few months ago and it was a total fail. I started it up and ran a auto bed level, sent it for its first print, and the nozzle dug in and scratched the glass bed. It was never able to print anything decently. I did some research and found that the auto bed leveling didn't even work and Creality was trying to fix the firmware. It also had issues with printing, screen freezing, and the extruder so I returned it. Flash forward to present day and I read that a new firmware was out and that the bed leveling actually works, so I decided to give it one more shot. I receive the new printer and open it up to assemble. Looking it over I noticed I have a cracked extruder mechanism and the spool holder was shattered and in pieces. I got with the seller and they said they'd be sending me new parts and some tracking info, two days later and I haven't received a update. I got it fired up and the bed level does seem to work now, but the prints are horrible, which I'm hoping is just because the extruder isn't working right. At this time I cannot recommend this printer and would advise you to look elsewhere. I will update this review...

Kamran M.Kamran M.:
Where should I begin. I bought this directly from COMGROW which is actual Creality reseller.
First of all, we have six 3D printers and we are sort of nerds at least when comes to troubleshooting 3d printers. Be aware of these errors I will discuss before you buy Creality CR-10 Smart because you will face these issues and you will have to spend more time and money to fix these issue than you can imagine.
These are the issues we have faced so far after using it for 3 months and just to keep in mind there is no help because customer service basically walks you through reinstalling firmware if they respond at all:
1: You cannot use the actual Cura. You have to use Creality modified cura. It does not have all the updated features cura has and the machine only listens to certain commands in this modified cura. So you will load the file and have to manually adjust settings as the print progresses. You cannot print on this machine and simply walk away.
2: error 204 (click reboot) – in this case nothing works but you need to reload the firmware over 5 times and screen firmware over 7 times then the error will be gone for a while but it most likely will come...

Pandy66Tech: The media could not be loaded. Seems like a fair deal, seems smart. Its neither!
1) you need to learn gcode, settings, machine buildup, engineering to run this thing. Half of it is in chinese. Support teams tries, but they dont seem to understand quite well
2) machine is NOT smart, it just connects via wifi/bluetooth…. Smart leveling is bad, and if any adjustment needs to be made, you are out of luck.
In my first month of using it i had to disassemble and re assemble the whole printer a couple of times.
Thermistor wires broke, some other wire in the front cover broke, firmware flashing is hard to do, software usually gets flshed half way and makes the whole software issue much worse.
Screen has different soft, thats a problem too.
Also one needs sd and the screen a mini sd… they have to be formatted in fat and in size every time…
Glass bed stops...
