Quadriplegic, but still shopping: I love these in my kids, both of them! I first bought them in 2015 and keep them in stock even now in 2023. The best of both worlds covering a lot of space like a crayon does, but fills in more evenly, kind of like a colour pencil. I just wish we could buy refills.

kaci may: nothing is better than these, easy to grip for people who struggle with it and the twist is much easier than tearing the paper of regular crayons.

Kindlegarten: Lots of nice things about these crayons:

-- Very durable - hard to break unless you twist them out too far
-- Great for big spaces and backgrounds
-- Vibrant colors
-- Long-lasting - they are really the length of two regular crayons
-- Good color variety in a 24-pack
-- Easy to hold and don't soften in your hands

There are a couple of down sides:

-- Would it kill Crayola to write the names of the colors on the sides? Sometimes it is tough to tell red from red-orange, orange from yellow-orange or teal/aqua from green at a glance.
-- These crayons come WITHOUT POINTS ON THEM! That makes them terrible for any kind of small space or detail work. And they don't fit well into regular sized crayon sharpeners. The only way I can get them to work for smaller spaces on the page is to color a big space like a background with one, being careful to keep using the same edge of the crayon the whole time. That flattens one side, which gives the other side an edge that can be used for a small space before it flattens out again. I have to keep a regular pack of crayons as well, just to be able to do smaller spaces in regular coloring books. The tiny spaces in...
