Amazon Customer: Bought it to replace a broken chime. Install was easy, looks nice and seems we’ll made.
Although it is described as tubular bells the striker doesn’t strike the tubes which are not tubes at all. They are just for looks. It has a typical striker bar setup.
With that said it still has a somewhat deep sound to it. Not like a tubular bell but close enough.
Satisfied with the purchase, not sure worth the $60+

Burr: I really like this one... it doesn't look cheap or trashy. Every doorbell chime out there is 50$ or more so no complaints on the price (even though it should be about 20 bucks honestly)... Works perfectly with RING doorbell Pro. Using a 16v 30vac transformer and it's flawless. Good old school mechanical chime with a modern look. A+

Donrim: I picked this door bell because I do not like the artificial sounding electronic doorbells. This door bell has a traditional mechanical dual solenoid plunger mechanism that strikes 2 resonant tone bars for the classic ding- dong sound. What sets this one apart from the rest of the cheaper versions available is the size and quality of the tone bars. They are much larger and have better resilient mounts to improve the volume and quality of the tone. Also. The two sound bars are mounted next to the two visible metal tubes on each side. These tubes have an opening in them facing the sound bars designed to further resonate the sound from the sound bars much like how an acoustic guitar works. The end result is a very pleasant tone that fades away slowly.
