Madame E: I am pleased with this purchase. My family (mostly 20 somethings), are all very health conscious. With that in mind, they appreciate the (faux fried) flavor and texture. I would recommend to new buyers, take your time and learn the machine, because it gets hot very quickly. Once you understand the settings, I made sweet potato fries that were delicious! Also, a vegan burger with steak fries-scrumptious. My daughter made some vegan chicken nuggets that came out fabulous! I also made some vegan crab cakes that were restaurant quality. I can see that the sky is the limit. 5 stars. We like it.

gravity: For the price this is a great air fryer. The basket doesn’t hold a lot (French fries need to be in a limited quantity but I did 7 big shrimp and they came out perfectly)

Amy Belding: This was our starter air fryer. I wasn't sure I would use it a lot, so I found a price point that was doable. We fell in love with air fried food as soon as we got this fryer. We have since upgraded air fryers to a bigger unit.

Pros: Great food with little to no oil (pretty much all air fryers though). Easy to clean. Used it for 6 months, several times a week and never scratched the surface of the basket, unlike the higher end air fryer that scratched and started peeling after the first use.

Cons: Basket is small; too small for a family of 4 with teens. (Buy a bigger one if you can afford to do so.) The instruction booklet / cookbook is not well written, but there are several websites, free cookbooks, and social online groups you can join that will provide general usage tips.

One pointer: make sure your unit is away from the wall when it is on. I noticed the plastic around the exhaust had started to melt a little probably due to being pushed against the wall. The wall is also discolored from the heat.

Jeff Richards: Great product. Cooks well, doesn't stink up the house with that deep fry smell. We used it for the first time today on home made fries. They were amazing. Can't wait to try new foods in it. Easy clean up too.
