COSTWAY Mini Portable Washer - Perfect for Compact Laundry Spaces

Quandella Ladson: I bought my mini washing machine in August and it has been so great with helping me save money form going to the laundromat especially during this Covid19 pandemic. I have only washed light loads since it was summer and i have been home more such as knee length night gowns 3 at a time, undergarments and sports bras 3 of each which you have to monitor because some of the items may wrap around and get intertwined especially if it has ribbons and straps. Adding too many things will cause the machine to rock a lot more than it already does so surface needs to be flat and stable. My washer is placed on a short stool inside bathtub . I wash towels, sheets, one at a time do to size and over working the machine. You only need about 1-2 ounces of liquid detergent because more than that will cause too much suds and you will have to do a rinse 2-3 times if more. It does not have a spinner to rinse clothes so you have to use your hands to squeeze out the excess water. I will have to buy a spinner for this reason especially if you are washing a few loads in a day. Over all I am satisfied with the purchase this far.

Dog Tired: - The instructions are in incomprehensible engrish.
- The soap instructions are wrong. You WILL overload it with soap if you follow them.
- The motor is weak, barely spinning a single towel.
- The intake tube is absolute trash. The glue holding together the nozzle melts at temperatures as low as 70F.
- So bad it gets two bullet points. The nozzle on the intake tube fits no sink head known to man.
- Both the intake and drain tubes are made of the same cheap plastic as those semi-transparent disposable plastic drinking cups.
- Both tubes are also too short to be useful, ESPECIALLY the drain tube.
- The thing is covered with warning that the motor will short under the slightest exposure to water, so you can't just put it in the tub, you would have to MacGyver together some kind of stand for it.
- The plastic wrap it ships with is applied DURING assembly, so you will never get all the plastic off. It will tear and you will be permanently stuck with it.
- IT DOESN'T DRAIN ALL THE WAY UNLESS YOU PICK IT UP AND ROCK IT!

I wouldn't recommend this thing to my worst enemy.

ChelBChelB: This little COSTWAY portable semi automatic washing machine is perfect! It's great for one person, washing various types of small loads, in-between trips/visits to the laundromat, baby clothes, workout clothes, work/school uniforms or anything else you want to wash quickly. I purchased the model that doesn't come with the spin basket. It arrived ahead of schedule...YAY! I was certain to read the instructions after I opened up my box. This little portable washer is extremely lightweight and easy to use. I let my laundry pile up so I would be able to wash multiple (small loads) on my first day using it and trying it out!

I was certain to not use too much soap as others have mentioned in their reviews. I used a liquid soap that I pre-mixed with water in a bucket to make sure, I did NOT use the water inlet hose that came with my washer. To add water to my laundry loads I poured it into the machine from these small 2 gallon buckets that I have.

I pre-soaked my clothes for about 20 minutes before washing them in the machine, then did both a wash and rinse cycle for each of my small (4) loads of laundry. An example of a load for me is-- (4) pairs of...

Manhattan Shopper: This washing machine is used very often; had it for a couple months. It is small enough for my small apartment; I keep it in the bathroom. First thing I did was replace original input hose with a quick connect adapter and a thicker, quality hose for filling the Costway, since original hose does not attach to faucet easily. (Available locally at hardware store or probably online from Amazon. Faucet adapter is not cheap but really useful and highly recommended.) Need to keep it off the floor when draining water. Best to remember the adage less is more, so do not over stuff. Use small loads that agitate well and do not strain the motor. Only need small amounts of detergent. Note:heavy dark jeans may be too much of a load, so I still do them by hand in a bucket. This is great for light colors that require more cleaning than heavy dark items. Great for work out clothing which can be cleaned right after working out. This pairs well with a centrifugal drying device. Once you have both of these you can have clean clothes in a short time and clean any spots on your day outfit and continue wearing it in the night time also. This is much better than sloshing in...
