Wittypedia: Microphone is absolutely trash. I reached out to support, and they sent me an external microphone, but I don't think it works. There is no port to plugin external microphones. There is only Aux port at the back, and I have connected the microphone in that port. No one can hear me clearly when I am in a call.

Second worst thing is Bluetooth connection. When connected and streaming music if you get a call, you cannot go back to your music after the call ends, especially when you get a WhatsApp call. Bluetooth still thinks the call is running and no matter how many times you press the end button, it will continue the call notification with timer. The only way to get this ended is disconnecting the Bluetooth.

Screen is the next worse thing. very poor screen quality. There is screen calibration setting in the option but there is no way to get the screen looking right. I cannot use Maps in day mode because the text as washed out and barely readable, the only way I can see street names is if I use Dark mode on maps. Black background looks dark blue/grey. It has very bad Contrast and brightness and cannot be adjusted to right settings.

Amazon Customer: Everything about this unit is cheap. Starting with the price, then of course it's quality. It comes with the poorest fitting wiring connectors I have ever come across. The mounting screws are not lined up to any din or iso fitment and will require you to modify any existing brackets or fitment kit you may have. When installed, the user interface is fairly generic, but easy to use, and the steering wheel controls are incredibly easy to set up. Upon first use, it's obvious that android auto has a major contrast issue, and the screen appears to be washed out with white, to the point it's not usable. After setting the contrast as far as it will go, it gets decent enough to tolerate. Audio itself is decent enough to justify the price of this unit along with its extra features. Just hope that it actually lasts. After 1 week of use, it freezes up while playing Spotify on Android auto, then fails to turn back on. Amazon customer service was decent enough to issue a refund for it. I ended up replacing it with a Pioneer and was instantly reminded of why I had ever only used quality, name-brand car audio products before this. I took a gamble on this product and was left...

Eric CliftonEric Clifton: I bought this head unit for my 2006 Chevy Silverado pickup with factory Bose system. I gave it two weeks and so far I have been very happy. I travel frequently so I have primarily used the bluetooth phone connection, Google Maps feature, and music via Amazon Music. All have worked very well. I selected this unit over may others for the Android Auto feature as the apps run on my phone with unlimited data. I also added a backup camera and it too works well. There is a setting to auto mute the radio when in reverse which I prefer to turn off. I was concerned about the volume but it pushes plenty of sound to all speakers. I rarely get over about 25% volume and it works just fine with the factory amp in my truck. Some advice, dont go with the Metra dash bezel kit. Mine had rounded corners so I had to file them square to get it to fit. The Scoche kit looks like it may work better. As for wiring make sure to research options for your vehicle. If you have Retained Accessory Power or Steering Wheel Controls you may need a more advanced harness kit. The wires on the stereo side are industry standard and well marked and documented. Important to know that the unit does not have stand alone GPS, so it needs a smartphone to work with.
Without using Android Auto or Carplay, you can connect the phone via bluetooth to make calls and listen to music.

Got the installation kit for my Santa Fe 2012, look in the questions section for your vehicle kit reference.

PROS:
Easy to setup with Android Auto or Apple Car Play.
Good screen resolution.
Fast boot time.
Works great with a third party rear camera.
Great screen touch response.

CONS:
Could not get the steering wheel remote controls to work. :(
Sometimes takes a little to load Android Auto.
Subpar FM radio reception.

Overall great unit, gave my vehicle a modern look.

LAST NOTE: Miss the classic volume knob, but can live without it :)
