Only improvement would be an opening on the belt hoop so you don't have to take your belt off to put it on.

Amazon Customer: It does it’s job it holds your drill in place BUT .the loops for the belt is extremely thing and flimsy . In summary it feels extremely cheap Would be good for DIY projects but would definitely NOT RECOMMEND for professional tradesmen Using it everyday .

Honestly AV2: Pros: Fits most cordless power tools with a caveat on certain items below.

Securely holds item in a solid grip, should not ever slip out or fall

Cons (for me at least): a lot of the cordless tools I use, specifically Milwaukee brand, sit in the holder in an off balance manner. Usually the drill will slip forward and rest on the battery in the holder. This isn't terrible really but as you walk or climb a ladder you have a heavy drill, possibly with a large drill bit, bouncing against your thigh, which isn't the most comfortable. It also throws you off balance a little with heavier tools.

There is absolutely no way this holder is fitting in any type of belt besides a normal (non tool holding) leather belt that you'd wear with regular pants. The slot for the belt is simply too thin to fit any kind of useful belt in. I think this is because of the off balance thing where if the opening were any bigger the drill would pull the holder over on itself due to the tool weight. So you usually end up wearing this holder on your regular belt and then have a tool belt on top of that.

Taking certain tools in and out of the clip is not normally a one handed process....

The built is strong with the exception of the security clip seems like is going to break soon. . .the transaction was easy and quick note hassles; however, the clip doesn't fit my occidental belt that alone completely defeats the purpose.

John Wolfram: This product works exactly as advertised. When dropping a drill or flashlight into the hook, it goes right in. I did the hip flop just like they do on their demonstrations, and my Craftsman drill and flashlight stayed in the hook. I am super pleased with the construction. You could probably stand on this thing and it is made of such hard material it would be hard to damage it unless you stand right on the bail portion. When I am on a ladder, and I am comming down, it is nice to know where my drill is.
