Matthew Hearle: 100% recommend these. Install is super easy diy, the app is very reliable. Only downside is that it doesn’t connect to apple HomeKit, works well with Alexa though. Other than that everything is perfect!

David: I have plenty of wifi enabled switches and outlets in my home. I don't want 14 different apps reporting my data so I try to consolidate as much as possible to just one app, Smart Life. That was primary driver for me to elect this particular multi pack of switches.

David: As a three way switch, this one did not work in my situation. It would only work as a single pole. The indicator on the switch was on all the time. The on indication in the app did not show to be on. Alexa could only turn it on. Since Alexa thought it was already off it could not turn it off. I emailed the manufacturer and the first contact was quick. Further emails not so quick. As you can figure they will start you off with basic troubleshooting that is found online and in the FAQs. I mentioned I already followed these suggestions but they suggested them again. I asked if they knew of something that was not covered in the FAQs but did not hear back. I feel the problem is the induced voltage on the un-switched traveler leg which is normal on any parallel set of wires. The electronics in the device should account for this. I read in another review here from person having the same issue. He mentioned he switched to Tessan brand and it worked. So I ordered a Tessan 3-way and it worked good. I could now control it with Alexa as was the original goal. Minus 1 star for not working and another star for the slow additional response from the manufacturer and there basic feedback. They...

Thomas Gleason: Purchased to replace a model that no longer worked. Difficult to install in an existing box as it is slightly larger than the electrical box. In addition pre-scheduled on/off times don’t work consistently. Will be returning and order a different brand.

Catherine Graham: We replaced all of the regular switches in our home last year with single pole smart switches. Easy to install. Turned off power to breaker box because we are not electricians. Hardest part was pushing all the wires far enough back to get the switch to mount flush with wall. Easy to install app and immediately linked to alexa.

THE BEST SWITCH placement was for the garbage disposal. Now I can turn it off and on while washing dishes without touching the switch with dirty, wet, greasy hands.

I love the tiny light at the bottom of the switch. They give off just enough light in the dark that you can find your way around.

When we went on vacation, we were able to turn on and off lights at different intervals to make it look like we were home.

BONUS...last week I was leaving for work. I said bye Alexa have a good day and she responded, you left the master bedroom closet light on, would you like me to turn it off. Woot. It saved me electricity.

This company has been great and we love their products. We have only replaced a couple plugs with smart plugs, but that's our next project and a smart thermostat and doorbell.

jsoanes: “Alexa" is not required if you don't want to use voice control. I use 6 various TreatLife Wi-Fi switches with the Android application. I purchased the switches for security. For creating an illusion of someone being home while travelling using schedules.

I'm not an electrician, but here's some things I've observed. I connect the Neutral, Ground and Hot wires, and then the "Traveller" wires -- when the switch lights up you know you have the last two connected properly. If the light works, but not 3-way, try switching the Traveller wires. Also note that the "Hot" wire is the one next to the Black screw on the old switch -- my switch had multiple black wires.

DCP: I have now installed these 3-way switches everywhere in my house. I control the lighting in 7 rooms with these switches.

I have also installed the TreatLife single pole switches for all the rest of the lighting in my home as well as for 3 bathroom fans. I am up to a total of 27 smart switches to controll most everything in my 2,800 sq. ft. home.

They all work with the SmartyLife app.

I did all the installation work myself, once I understood how to wire the first switch, the rest were pretty easy to get in place. The 3 way switches were harder than the single pole but only because 3 way switches are harder.

What I really liked about these switches is that they:

1. Don't require a hub. (I have a Phillips light strip that requires a hub.. It causes me anger regularly.)

2. Only requires 1 smart switch on the 3-way circuit. That way, I can do 1 smart 3-way switch and 1 dumb 3-way
switch and I get the exact same functionality at half the price. (I mistakenly bought a smart 3-way pair in the
past that that had an "a" switch and "b" switch that both needed to be installed on the circuit to work.
