I’m using this with a memory foam mattress that doesn’t technically need a box spring but needed to be able to get to mattress without digging down deep. The four inches makes that perfect.

I got the split queen box springs because my daughter rented a house with a basement bedroom and her regular full-size boxsprings would not go down the stairs. These split boxsprings work perfectly and now she is able to sleep on her bed, great purchase at a great, low price.
