Dawn Means: I bought these for my cats because I was tired of all the cardboard mess all over the floor. Having the tall sides definitely keeps it contained much better! Will buy more when these wear out. Worth the money!

Jacqui Wunderlich: I'm fostering kittens and they have just begun to start scratching stuff -- so this box is perfect. It came with some catnip but my kittens are too young for that so I just stored it for when they're older. It is easy to assemble -- took a couple of minutes, would have been faster if not for.... well, kittens trying to play with it the entire time. They love playing with the holes and I like that it's super cheap and easy to replace if it does get destroyed. It fits at least 4 kittens at a time!

Anna S.: Das Wichtigste gleich am Anfang. Die Kiste wurde prompt in Besitz genommen. Beide Katzen lieben die Kiste sowohl zum Kratzen als auch einfach zum drin liegen (immerhin ist es ja eine Kiste^^).
Im Gegensatz zu anderen Produkten, die einfach einen grauen Karton verwenden, sieht diese Variante auch noch ansprechend aus. Robust ist sie auch. Sie wird erstaunlicherweise nicht angeknabbert und die Kratzteile halten den Krallen auch erstaunlich gut stand. Dadurch (und natürlich durch die Kiste selbst) können die beiden kratzen, ohne dass die ganze Bude voller Kartonschnipsel ist.
Den einen Stern Abzug gibt es, weil die Kratzteile unterschiedlich groß sind. Eins war leider klein genug, dass der Kater es auch in der Kiste an der Seite zu fassen gekriegt und durch die Wohnung geschleppt hat.
Insgesamt bin ich aber total zufrieden.
Die Katzenminze haben wir bislang nicht benutzt. Die Kiste finden beide auch ohne die Minze toll.

Wilfred: Had this months, Genius really being supplied with multiple layers to just slot in on top as the previous ones get ripped up. Much better quality than the single use ones from Wilcos, they're right when they show the cardboard is woven much stronger than cheaper ones. It's lasted my 4 cats months on end, I've only just ordered another one and could have just ordered the inner bits but got the box too so now they can have 2 on the go at once. They sometimes curl up in them too which sweet. Really good value and well built. Recommend.

L. A. Maffei: It didn't take long for my cat to adapt to it. I placed one of each pieces all over the stairs (I have two sets) and I'm glad that it helped reduce significantly the scratching of the carpet. Not stopped completely yet but it has made a huge difference. She's not keen as much on the little box bed itself but will occasionally lie in it. I did use plenty of treats to encourage my cat to use these and other "allowed" places for her and it worked well. I highly recommend these scratchers.

Sydney: Our cat, Shiva, has her nightly routine. It starts at the corner of the bedroom rug, where she asks for Bedtime Brushes from her favorite brush. She will stare at you until you do, so it is advised to get it over sooner rather than later. Then she will run up and down the hallway of our shotgun-style condo a few times, just to be sure she has completely used up all her energy. If it's a really spicy day, we'll throw a few foam balls for her to chase, which is one of her favorite activities. Then, before she hops up to her heated bed on the bedside table, she gets her claws all nice and sharp in this little box, which we have under the bedside table.

It's small, which is what we wanted, so if you've got a big ole Maine Coon, I wouldn't recommend this box. She does really love the "evil feather sticking through the hole" game, and will happily guard her boxy castle from the demonic feather if her energy levels are high. She enjoys sitting in it as much as she loves scratching it, too, so we will often find her chilling with her chin on the corner, perfectly loafed to contentedness. Midgetjones: Having bought and provided endless cardboard scratchers for the cat (new is best, she says) she has loved this box set for well over 6 months now and its till going strong - you've got 10 sides of fresh corrugated cardboard to bring to the surface "(is that virgin cardboard??!! YESS!") and the height can lowered or raised for addition variety (if you can be bothered to take the layers out and store them elsewhere to keep your cat intrigued). Whoever thought of this is a genius. It might seem expensive but divide the cost by 5 to get its true value because you are getting 5 sheets of two sided scratching. The simple addition of the side hole (again genius) means you can have a high up "throne" one minute or a game of peek-a-mouse then next.
