Dalila H.: I pre-drilled the holes and the screws went in with great ease. Did not damage or crack the brick at all. Nice a snug. Happy with this purchase.

Vinnie: Just finished installing about 50 of these into a poured concrete wall and not a single broken screw. Only two screws "spun out" and didn't grip the concrete, once where I was repeatedly trying to drive it deeper so the head would sink into the wood. The other was a hole where I hit rebar and had some trouble drilling the hole, probably not the fault of the screw.

If you are using these flat heads to avoid the screw head from protruding from the wood, you will definitely want to use a countersink bit in the wood you are attaching to the concrete. I went with a slightly oversized half inch bit and it worked perfectly for me. Without it, the head will protrude and trying to force it deeper will cause the screw to spin out as I mentioned above.

I didn't try the drill bit that came with the set, instead using a Milwaukee MX4 bit with one bit surviving the entire project.

DR: The drill bit that comes with this set is excellent, cuts way better than the Tapcon bits. The only issue was the screw that i was testing on an old piece of block stripped easily, but probably my fault as I tend to over tighten most everything.

Eduardo: Funcionan muy bien, pero tener en cuenta que no son perforantes, se tiene que hacer la guía prácticamente para todo el largo del tornillo.
Se me han quebrado dos con el torque del atornillador y otros dos se doblaron al topar en block.

Kelsey Jene: While the screws are very good, the drill bit sent with the product was not able to drill the pilot hole through the concrete. I purchased another masonry bit and it drilled the pilot hole with ease. So, buy the product for the screws and expect not to use the masonry bit included with the box of screws.

H. Sharrott: These screws work fine on real rock but are useless on engineered stone used on most homes nowadays. I fastened screws tight on my flag mount then a few days later the mount and flag are lying on ground. Screws vibrated/pulled out with a powdery residue left in holes and on ground from the fake stone. If you use these on engineered stone then use anchors. So far so good.

Jennifer: These screws are great when you use a 7/32 drill bit. I ruined a couple trying to use a 3/16" one.

Stephen: These work good and are strong. But the 3/16 hole size it says it requires seems to be slightly off. The screw doesn't like to drive deeply into the concrete I have an older Milwaukee M18 hammer drill but it can't seem to get these in all the way. I've taken to drilling the concrete a little with my 1/4 drill bit just a little and then they sink ok. A 7/32 may work but I don't want to buy a new concrete bit just to test this.
